Today you will have a full-day excursion to explore Beijing
We start with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world. Afterward, you will proceed to the magnificent Forbidden City, a majestic imperial palace in Beijing that served as the home and administrative centre of the Ming and Qing dynasty emperors for nearly 500 years
In the afternoon, continue to the Summer Palace, a stunning imperial garden complex from the Qing Dynasty, where you will enjoy a boat ride and admire the beautiful scenery of the lake. You will embark on a journey to the Mutianyu Great Wall, a remarkably wellpreserved section of this iconic landmark. As you ascend the wall by cable car, you'll be greeted by breathtaking vistas and a palpable sense of history Strolling along the ancient fortifications, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the grandeur of this architectural marvel and admire the ingenuity and craftsmanship of its builders.
Following your exploration of the Great Wall, you'll return to Beijing, passing by two iconic symbols of the 2008 Beijing Olympics: the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Cube (National Aquatics Centre). Today you'll delve deeper into Beijing's rich history and culture, exploring sacred sites and traditional neighbourhoods. Your day begins at the Temple of Heaven, a serene and majestic complex that once served as the imperial place of worship. As you wander through its well-preserved halls and gardens, you'll gain insights into the ancient Chinese belief in the harmony between Heaven and Earth. The intricate architectural details and serene atmosphere make this a truly unforgettable experience.
Next, you'll embark on a leisurely rickshaw ride through Beijing's historic Hutongs, narrow alleyways that wind their way through the city's traditional neighbourhoods This unique mode of transportation will allow you to experience the authentic charm of old Beijing, passing by ancient houses, local shops, and hidden courtyards.

Start your day by visiting the magnificent Ancient City Wall, one of the bestpreserved city walls in China. Cycle along the top of the wall, taking in stunning panoramic views of the city. As you pedal through history, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the scale and grandeur of this ancient fortification
The highlight of your day will be a visit to the Terracotta Army, a breathtaking archaeological wonder. Marvel at the life-sized terracotta warriors and horses, each with unique facial expressions and intricate details. Learn about the incredible craftsmanship and engineering that went into creating this massive army, a testament to the power and might of the ancient Qin Dynasty

11th September: Xi’an - Chengdu
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Xi'an railway station for a high-speed train to Chengdu G87(11:25-14:32)
Upon arriving in Chengdu, you'll be greeted and taken to visit Jinli Street, a historic and vibrant area filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural sites that reflect the city's rich heritage. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
12th September: Chengdu
Enjoy a full-day tour to visit the Chengdu Panda Base and Leshan Giant Buddha. At the panda base, you'll have the chance to observe these adorable creatures in their natural habitat and learn about their conservation efforts
Next, head to Leshan Giant Buddha, a stunning Buddhist statue carved into the cliffside that dates back over a thousand years. After your tour, you'll be transferred back to Chengdu, and enjoy a local famous food-hotpot dinner. Meals: Breakfast, Hotpot Dinner
13th September: Chengdu – Zhangjiajie (Wulingyuan)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chengdu airport for flight to Zhangjiajie. Flight: 3U 6781(11:30-13:00)
Upon arriving in Zhangjiajie, you'll be greeted and taken to visit the breathtaking Glass Bridge and the majestic Grand Canyon The Glass Bridge, located in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, spans an astonishing 430 meters in length and is made entirely of transparent glass. The Grand Canyon is known for its towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and lush greenery. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
14th September: Zhangjiajie (Wulingyuan)
Depart from your hotel and transfer to Tianzi Mountain. Embark on a thrilling cable car ride to the Summit of Tianzi Mountain and enjoy panoramic views of the towering peaks, lush forests, and misty valleys. Once at the summit, take your time to explore the scenic viewpoints and capture stunning photos
We will then descend from the summit via a glass elevator, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Arrive at Yuanjiajie Village and cross the impressive Tianyun Bridge, a glass-bottomed structure that provides a unique perspective of the park's peaks. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
15th September: Wulingyuan - Fenghuang
After breakfast, you will visit Tianmen Mountain by cable car The mountain is also home to the Tianmen Cave, a natural arch that is 1,318 meters (4,324 feet) high. Afterward, drive to Fenghuang, and en-route you will visit a small and quaint village that belongs to the ethnic Miao Minority, the largest ethnic group in China. The Miao have a rich and unique culture, with their own language, religion, and traditions They are known for their colourful clothing, silver jewellery, and embroidery. Miao women are also skilled in weaving and embroidery, and their textiles are highly prized.
Fenghuang Old Town is a charming and well-preserved ancient town located in the Hunan Province of China. It is known for its picturesque scenery, traditional architecture, and rich cultural heritage The town is particularly famous for its Rainbow Bridge, a beautiful arched bridge that spans the Tuojiang River. The Rainbow Bridge is a popular tourist attraction and offers stunning views of the town and the river. At night, the bridge and the surrounding area are illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. Fenghuang Old Town is a great place to experience traditional Chinese culture and architecture Visitors can explore the narrow streets, admire the beautiful houses, and visit the many shops and restaurants. 16th September: Fenghuang - Guilin
After breakfast, drive to Huaihua railway station, around 80km, for a high-speed train to Guilin. D3967(08:45-14:07)
Upon arrive in Guilin, you will be greeted and transferred to visit the Reed Flute Cave, a natural wonder located in Guilin. It is known for its intricate stalactite and stalagmite formations, which have been shaped by millions of years of geological activity. The cave got its name from the type of reed growing outside, which can be made into flutes. The cave is also home to a variety of other natural wonders, including underground rivers and waterfalls
Later, we will pass by Elephant Trunk Hill. A hill shaped like an elephant drinking water from the Li River. It is a popular tourist destination and is often featured in photographs and paintings of Guilin. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
17th September: Guilin
Today you will take a Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. Admire the scenery of the karst mountains, lush greenery, and quaint villages en route. In Yangshuo, you will stroll through Yangshuo West Street, a vibrant pedestrian street lined with quaint shops, bustling cafes, and artistic boutiques, where you can soak in the laid-back atmosphere and unique culture of this picturesque town. Transfer back to your hotel in Guilin. Meals: Breakfast and lunch on the cruise
18th September: Guilin - Shanghai
After breakfast, drive to Guilin airport for a flight to Shanghai. MU5390(07:30-09:50)
Upon arrival in Shanghai, you'll be met and escorted to Yuyuan Garden, followed by free time to explore the old town Next, you'll head to The Bund to admire the stunning river views and visit the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. The day concludes with a relaxing cruise on the Huangpu River, where you can marvel at Shanghai's illuminated skyline. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
19th September: Shanghai
After breakfast, transfer to Zhouzhuang to visit the water town.
Renowned for its rich cultural heritage, Zhouzhuang owns well-preserved ancient residential houses, elegant watery views, with narrow streets and bridges spanning serene canals, creating a picturesque setting that is both tranquil and enchanting. Additionally, Zhouzhuang is known for its vibrant local traditions and customs, which add a unique flavour to the town's charm and make it a truly unforgettable destination.
Afterward, we travel to Suzhou, where you will visit the Humble Administrator Garden, a Chinese garden and a UNESCO World Heritage Site Renowned for its expansive size and exquisite landscaping, the garden offers a serene escape from the bustling city.
