AIESEC GLOBAL VILLAGE A GREAT EXPERIENCE TO LIVE
Global village is literally bringing the world under one roof!!! It is closely related to AIESEC's vision of Peace and fulfillment of humankind’s potential, as it encourages social sustainability, world awareness, and cultural understanding. It revives the general concept of the world being a ‘global village’ and inspires people to understand and appreciate the uniqueness and difference of each other which further contributes to peace.
"The global village was wonderful, it made me live many experiences in one day. My biggest fear was English, but the Aiesecers were very collaborative and caring which made everything perfect. - Victoria: 2nd Year (High School)

ColEGIO SIDARTA A GREAT PLACE TO BE
Colégio Sidarta is a school which runs from kindergarten to high school and has its main goal to develop its students in appreciation of knowledge. The teaching of languages, namely Mandarin, English and Spanish is an ally in the formation of childhood and youth. With a different methodology, which values learning through experience, the school ensures value-based education and encourages its students in social work as a form of citizenship.
“The idea of this initiative is to promote opportunities to build a counterpoint to the world view of the student, encouraging their reflection. This work is constant and culture in our boys and girls a look that recognizes the unity that exists in diversity, one of the philosophical principles of Instituto Sidarta. - Carmen, Lenguage Coordinator.
“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.”
THEME OF tHE EVENT: THE WAy WE PlAy A GREAT MOMENT TO SHARE
This year’s event is based on the theme: the way we play. Games are in true sense a uniting factor and hence, we zeroed on this theme. The interns are expected to do a research on the typical games of their country which can be played here at school. It can be any game, as long as it is doable in the school premises. On the other hand, the students of the school will prepare some Brazilian activities for the interns to participate and have some fun.
“Recognizes the unity that exists in diversity. - Instituto Sidarta
“Destiny belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams and have the courage to pursue it. Don’t stop when you are tired, stop when you are done.”
ExPECTATIONS FROM tHE INTERNS A GREAT WAY TO DEVELOP YOURSELF
We as Hosts of the event, will strive to provide you with the best of conditions possible and most importantly with the warmth and love. But considering this is a school with mostly Children and teens, we would expect certain things from your side. • Be as role models. • Be enthusiastic and pro-active. • Bring some souvenirs from your country for demonstration, including the flags of your country. • It will be great if you can cook some of your countries specialty (this is just an option). • You might also want to prepare some games for the participants. • Cultural arts forms like music and dance is appreciated.
