This June, Sotheby’s will host three auctions with objects from the collection of Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman. The one live and two online auctions draw back the curtains of the stars’ personal lives, unveiling a retrospective and intimate point of view of the couple’s thrilling, yet exclusive world that existed outside of the limelight. On June 9th at 10 AM, the Important Watches sale will include two of Paul’s Rolex Daytona and Joanne’s Patek Philippe as well as some of Paul’s racing gear. The Life and Legacy online auction, closing on June 12th will feature mementos from their love story, lm memorabilia, keepsakes, and an incredible selection of Americana furniture and paintings. The RM sale, High Speed closing on June 13th, will feature the best of Paul’s racing memorabilia.
