A property so unique in the emirate, such has been the success of Paramount Hotel Dubai that within three years of its launch, the sequel to the brand was introduced. And despite the pandemic, the hotel has only grown in popularity among residents and international visitors.

We became the first in the entire region to bring this new luxury lifestyle hotel with a cinematic touch, exclusivity and a number of unique elements you will not find elsewhere.

“We are very much linked to that Hollywood movie glam and have very delicate touches present everywhere. When guests enter the hotel, they feel like they are about to embark on a cinematic adventure through Hollywood. But I believe that the secret to our success is also that it is all understatedly done, with subtle nods to the old, glamorous movie era without going over the top.”

With cast members (staff) decked in costumes, rather than uniforms, images of iconic Hollywood actors and actresses as well as posters of famous films adorning the lobby, guests feel instantly transported to a movie set. The theme of cinematic exclusivity continues in the rooms, with many named after the classics, from The Godfather to The Great Gatsby, and with many recognisable elements and props from these movies present in the rooms.

“We always try to entice guests with some surprises and little touches of drama. For instance, when you walk into your room, you don’t see a TV. In fact, we have a huge mirror with a built-in TV. It ties in with our brand pillars of sophisticated mystery.

“Also, one of the features that you will not find in any other hotel in Dubai is our private cinema or our Screening room, where we show Paramount movies to in-house guests. We also see a lot of marriage proposals inside this Screening room. We’ve had 25 proposals so far, and all of them said ‘Yes!’ ”
