Steering Roberto Cavalli’s legacy into a new era as the brand’s Creative Director, the fashion mastermind’s latest Resort 2023 collection retains the revered house’s signature identity while offering unique touches that fit right in today.

When he’s not busy dressing the likes of Cardi B and Dua Lipa, he pours much of his energy into the brand’s collections to ensure that the house of Cavalli delivers every season. It is little wonder then that in Puglisi’s capable hands, the maison has introduced yet another extravagant collection – the Resort 2023 line – with every piece screaming “Cavalli!”

To take in the Cavalli dose of flamboyance, fun and femininity, Puglisi invites the audience to get on board and imagine a stylish journey from New York to Miami and then to Palm Springs as he effortlessly combines a metropolitan vibe with desert paradise aesthetics in the new line. Moving from New York’s timeless edge to the desert, sophisticated neutrals and blue tones give way to rich shades of red, orange and pink, evoking a fiery sunset in Miami.

Compared to the usually relaxed silhouettes of pieces found in resort collections, this time around, the house underscores its preference for fitted silhouettes. It’s a successful attempt at highlighting that resort collections do not belong only to tropical vacations, as these creations are equally at home on a red carpet.

Roberto Cavalli’s latest modern essentials, ideal for day or night, are designed for women looking to channel their fierce personalities with their wardrobe choices. There are double-face cashmere coats layered over flats, there are denim-like looks that pack an extra colour punch; faux fur coats stand out and cut-out frocks with high slits perfectly appeal to every confident woman.
