Basketball Varsity Girls
Hooray! The moment that we have all been waiting for has come. Our Concordian Dragons Basketball Varsity Girls team has finally made an indelible mark in history, as it happened for the first time ever. Despite the hectic scholastic schedule of the players, they always endeavored to join the training. Because of their hard work, determination and teamwork, they are now hailed as the AISAA Girls Varsity Basketball League Champion. 1-2-3 Dragons!
G7U Girls
Football
After some good League games and friendlies where this team deserved a bit more, on March 2nd, 2023 Concordian hosted the G7U AISAA Tournament. On a very hot day, these Dragons were able to complete the pool with 3 wins and 1 loss, winning the key game against KIS 3-0. With a 3 team tie, a penalty round between 3 teams decided the 2 finalists. In the end, Concordian and Berkeley both ended up advancing to the final. In three previous games against Berkeley, (the league, a friendly and in the tournament) Concordian lost all three games. However, on this day, the team was ready for the challenge. This final was one of the most amazing and emotional games we have seen on our home field. Our Dragons played the perfect match and were able to beat Berkley by a score of 1-0 on a goal by Ploy. This was an incredible all-round effort in a truly memorable game. Concordian fully deserved the victory on this day and from that game, thirteen young heroes emerged. These are the 13 girls that never stopped believing that If you try your best, you can indeed succeed:
G7: Gia, Pim, Melody, Proud, Rita, Ami, Airi
G6: Lookpear, Sureen, Aimee, Torfun, Grace, Ploy

Grade 1, 2 Track and Field
What a terrific time we had with Grade 1 and 2 Developmental Track and Field. Students learned the basics of running, jumping and throwing over the three and a half months.
In our final celebration session, the eager students ran 60 m, and the 200 m. They also had a throwing activity and did the running long jump.
Each participant showed good portsmanship and perseverance as they competed against students from their same gender and same grade level. It was lovely to see them push as hard as they could in each event!
We had quite a number of parents that watched the culminating activity where they cheered on their child.
Congratulations to each student that participated since the beginning of the school year.
See you next year!
