Walkathon Walkathon

The K2 Walkathon was a special event that connected with our Unit of Inquiry, "Connecting to Characters," and the story "I Walk With Vanessa." The students collected sponsors and walked circles around the gym to raise funds for the pediatric department at Chonburi hospital, inspired by Vanessa's story. Thanks to the incredible efforts of the K2 class moms, the event ran smoothly, resulting in a remarkable total of 473,328 Thai Baht raised. Grade 2 also contributed 10,000 Baht, setting a generous example for others. The Walkathon exemplified empathy and the power of taking action. It showed students how their support could make a difference in the lives of children at the hospital, just like Vanessa in the story.

Design is a versatile discipline that shapes objects, systems, and experiences with purpose. It plays a crucial role in forming our surroundings, enhancing functionality, and facilitating effective communication. Design combines problem-solving, aesthetics, and user-centric thinking while considering cultural and environmental factors.
