The school was founded in 2001 as a private coeducational college-preparatory school, with a total enrollment of 670 students to date. The first graduating cohort received their Diplomas in 2010.

Concordian Community The parents of Concordian students come from a variety of business, government and other professional backgrounds. Most of the students represent Thai, Thai-Chinese ethnicity with a smaller percentage represented by other Asian, South East Asian countries, Australia and North America. Most students come from middle to high socio-economic backgrounds. Ninety-nine percent of the students are second language learners. The teaching staff is multi-national representing countries from all over the world, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Canada, United States, India, China, Taiwan, Spain, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium and Thailand.

Academic Program After successful completion of year 10 MYP, all students enter the DP program. To ensure success as a Diploma candidate, Concordian offers a wide range of DP subjects in each of the six subject groups; 25 in total. The DP is a two-year matriculation program offered in Grades 11 and 12 and each candidate must select one subject from each of the Groups (1-6) or may opt out of Group 6 and take another subject from Groups from1-4. In addition to the subject requirements, three core requirements must be satisfied; Theory of Knowledge (TOK), 4000 word research Extended Essay (EE) and the creativity, Action and Service (CAS) component. The culmination of the program is the IB subject examinations offered in May of the second year. Successful students receive an IB Diploma as well as a Concordian Diploma. Through the IB framework, the IB learner profile, students become empowered to become creators of their own growth and learning.

Graduation Requirements The school year is divided into two semesters. The first semester begins in early August and ends in mid- January and the second semester ends in early June. On the successful completion of each subject over two semesters per year, the students receive 1 credit. Graduation requirements for a Concordian High School Diploma is a minimum of 24 academic credits. English Math Humanities Science Foreign Language
