Lighting Your Candles Safely

Always hold lit candles upright. As ushers or volunteers bring their lit candles to each row, instruct people to tilt their unlit candles over the lit candles until the flame catches.

Once the first candle in each row is lit, the flame can be passed down the row safely and efficiently.
