At Concordia Textiles, we engineer, develop and manufacture advanced protective textiles. With our vertically integrated production facility located in Belgium, we can develop fabrics up to your requirements and needs, adding value to your products.
Durability is a key feature facilitated by the polyester content, ensuring an extended garment lifespan and ease of care. The fabrics are resistant to frequent washing, a selection of these variants are even capable of enduring up to 150 washing cycles without compromising their inherent characteristics.
Performance and comfort are key in fabric development for healthcare environments. Our medical and cleanroom fabrics contain microfiber polyester for a soft handle. Air permeability and breathability properties ensure the required comfort during long shifts.
Antistatic properties further enhance the functionality of our fabrics for medical and cleanroom applications. Whether through the inclusion of antistatic yarn or the application of an antistatic finish, our fabrics reduce static electricity buildup on the garment surface, consequently reducing the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD).

Since 2019 the revised standard EN 13795-1 is in place for surgical gowns and drapes. We developed a range of certified fabrics with different levels of comfort and performance, all safe in a medical environment.

MEDICAL CLEANROOM
In cleanroom settings, human presence represents the primary contamination source. Our fabric range acts as a protective shield, preventing dead cells and particles from contaminating the cleanroom environment. Offering comfortable, low-maintenance, certified textile solutions, our collection guarantees cleanroom cleanliness and safety. Our selected fabrics are crafted from synthetic fibers rather than natural ones like cotton, to minimize particle and fiber release.

After 150 industrial washing cycles, the color of our Teximed® fabrics remains visually unchanged.
SHRINKAGE
After 150 industrial washing cycles, the shrinkage of our Teximed® fabrics does not exceed the maximum value of -3%.
