Fierce at 40: The Ultimate Milestone Birthday Party

For my 40th we wanted to create a celebration that embraced the big 40. It was a moody, dark and stormy scene, in a micro brewery in the heart of Newcastle.

The brewery had never seen so much confetti on their floors – thankfully, the head brewer was off for the day!

A massive balloon and streamer roof installs, cheeky neons, moody florals and styling and jewels to die for all featured. We also wanted this to be unique, different and show what this regional city could do. A great bunch of local vendors working together to create this vision of an off-the-charts birthday party!

To finish off, there was an elegant cake smash done with a butterscotch flavoured mud cake and buttercream icing.

WHY WAS THIS THEME CHOSEN? For my 40th, we wanted to embrace the big 4-0 with a huge celebration.
