With Christmas just around the corner, it was a great time to create fun and festivities at home for the little ones. Being my favourite time of year I had been stocking up on the gorgeous new Christmas range from Favor Lane Party. The range includes cute gingerbread man napkins, balloons, merry and bright Christmas tree plates and pink candy cane foiled balloons.

I wanted to create some of the magic of the North Pole, and also incorporate some of our favourite Christmas treats and activities we enjoy as a family. To bring these together I created a mini celebration, styled as I imagined having afternoon tea with Mrs Claus would be like; with gingerbread cookies, marshmallow and candy cane flavoured milkshakes, pastel macarons, petite cherry cakes and candy canes.

The set-up was set against the iridescent shimmer sequin wall from The Lollie Trolley Perth, which had the perfect reflections to create a glistening snowflake backdrop, framed by a pastel balloon garland with Christmas foil balloons of peppermint swirls, candy canes and orb sprinkle balloons. The party table was styled with gingerbread houses, gingerbread favour bags, and the cutest Christmas tableware.

To complete the scene, we had melted sprinkle and candy flooring, ghost plinths and ghost tiffany chairs, gingerbread houses, large wrapped presents and snowmen.

The little ones enjoyed the Christmas activities by Oh Goodie that included gingerbread play-doh and Christmas colour-in cards. With all the delicious treats and fun activities. it was the youngest of the children that held everyone’s attention with her delight at playing with the oversized balloons and presents. h
