If there is one thing little girls love, it's slumber parties with their BFFs. Now team that up with a braid bar and a ridiculous amount of sugar and you end up with some very ecstatic young ladies!
On a very wet afternoon four little ladies came along to our slumber party braid bar shoot. Our friends at The Braid Boss had recently launched their new business, and what better way to show off their amazing talent.
Using the colours of The Braid Boss logo (bright and happy) we set-up a slumber party scene. Teepees were provided by Petite Events Hire and were adorned with amazing florals created by the amazing Mehroz from Set in September.
As our little ladies got their PJ's on and patiently lined up to get their hair to get their braided by Sharia at The Braid Boss (who's very cool mirror was playing tunes) they got to pick the colours for their hair, the style and also glitter colour!
The slumber party would not have been complete without sweets. In our true style, less is not necessarily more! Thus, we created an epic dessert graze!
Our vendors matched the colours of the shoot perfectly to create the ultimate in sweet heaven. The cake by Sydney Dessert Co was elevated on a pink acrylic stand by Something Blue Weddings to look over the rest of the table which included three colour panna cotta dessert cups by Bella Noir Desserts, cake pops and cupcakes with little braids and choc covered fortune cookies by Crumbs with Love, cookies in the shapes of cupcakes, ice creams and lollies by Imperfectly Perfect Sugar Cookies and marshmallow cups, choc covered oreos and donuts by Mama Tucks.
And just because we needed some more sweets we added an amazing donut wall by Sydney Donut Walls with matching coloured donuts and a adorable sign that read Sweet Braids, Sweet Dreams by Petite Decor.
Of course, no party is complete without balloons. We used Favor Lane Party Boutique's DIY balloon kits to create a garland and then scatter some more balloons on the ground for the girls to have a play.
To match the theme, Jen from Pink Pom Pom Design created a cute welcome sign. Which sat nice and bright at the foot of the dessert graze!
Now just in case you thought the girls didn't get enough sugar, they all got a take home bento box filled with lollies and cookies by Cosmic Events Confections, and never fear these cookies were in the shape of cute little fruit so super healthy! Each of the girls bento box was topped with a personalised sticker by Pink Pom Pom Design.
