Dear Friends:
On behalf of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. (CBCF), we are excited to welcome you to the 30 th Annual Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic. The Scholarship Classic is an annual fundraiser in support of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Spouses General Education Scholarship Program. This year, we are elated to host this event at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, Maryland.
CBCF is proud of our exceptional scholars and community leaders who are impacting our world in a positive and meaningful way. Over the past 30 years, CBCF has awarded more than $11 million in scholarships to numerous deserving young men and women seeking a higher education. These students excel academically and are the next generation of well-rounded servant leaders who are empowering young people for service to each other and their communities.
CBCF remains committed to our mission to advance the global black community by developing leaders, informing policy, and educating the public. Thank you to our sponsors for their unwavering support of the Scholarship Classic and for believing in our mission. Their continued sponsorship makes this phenomenal event possible.
We are thrilled that each of you could join us. Your participation makes an extraordinary difference in helping to ensure that many young people have equal access to the resources they need to become the leaders of the future. We look forward to your presence at the 30 th Annual Mervyn L. & Stephanie Tubbs Jones Memorial Scholarship Classic. You will have a great time!
Sincerely,
