PRECURSOR
SPECIAL
This is a supplement to PRECURSOR II and is published in October 1983. The editorial offices are at 2215 Myrtle Street, Erie, Pennsylvania 16502. PRECURSOR will be issued three times a year, and it will be sold for $4.00 per issue, or three issues for $10.00. Outside the United States and Canada, it will sell for $5.00 per issue, or three issues for $13.00. This Supplement is designed to serve two purposes. First of all, it is providing a little bonus of a couple of very fine effects to our subscribers. The first of these is my own "Submarine Aces". This routine was inspired by a very brief trick of Karl Fulves from his book, After Jordan. I played around with the premise and came up with this more detailed routine. Also in this Supplement is a superb utility move from Warren Stephens. Although Warren is not really known as a Card Man, anyone who studies "Han Ping Chien Cards" will begin to realize that Warren Stephens is no slouch with the cards and how truly versatile he really is. The second reason for this Supplement is that right at this moment there are two gatherings of Close-Up Magicians in "my little corner of the world". Those who are in attendance are the type of magicians who should really find PRECURSOR of interest. I wanted to have something available to give to each one that would explain what PRECURSOR is all about, and what would be better than a MINI-PRECURSOR? If you obtained your copy of this Supplement at either "Ibidem Potpourri" or "Close Encounters of the Magic Kind", this is what PRECURSOR is about. Of course, this is a much smaller version, as each regular issue will contain about twenty pages. If you like what you are reading, please let me know.
