SUPER
MAGICAL
MIRACLES
For some time I have been requested by magicians to publish in book form, some of my best original secrets. I have finally consented to do this, and this, my first book, discloses to you many effects which have never been published or exposed by myself before. As far as f am able to ascertain, every effect is original in every respect unless stated so by myself in the description of the trick, but if by any chance I have described an effect which is not new I hope you will pardon me. Due to the fact that not every magician's tastes run along the same lines I have included tricks with all types of available objects such as pencils, cigarettes, watches, pocket dictionaries, silks, jioker chips, crayons, slates, etc., in the hope that every magician possessing this book will find at least one type of trick he will like .and add to his repertoire. Most of the effects require very little skill or apparatus, yet I have exhaustively described and treated each move in the presentation. Most of the tricks may be performed from the pocket and require little previous preparation. The trend of Modern Magic is towards more sensational and showy mysteries combined with simplicity of operation and compactness of necessary materials. I have tried to embody these in the effects in this book and trust you will find that they provide •everything to be desired as effective and baffling miracles. JOHN BOOTH. Hamilton, Ontario.
I dedicate this book to W. J. Armstrong, who set my feet on the paths of Magic BY
