Type 1 Adult Group Have you had those days when your diabetes makes you wonder: "why must I keep going to see my diabetes team?" Or feel frustrated: "I don't like keeping records in log books" or "I'm so stressed with work, school or family and don't have time for anything else!" Or think I want to learn to run or take that aerobics class at the gym, but being unsure about your diabetes management makes you hesitate. •
Would meeting other adults with type 1 diabetes and sharing common experiences be comforting as well as educational for you?
•
Would you feel less alone with your situation if you were able to talk with people who face or have faced similar challenges?
•
Would having real life examples and ways on how these can be easily applied to everyday challenges from other type 1's be helpful?
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, then a JDRF type 1 adult group is right for you. JDRF’s group meeting takes place on Thursday, December 6th - 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
