The Untold Story About Type 1 Diabetes Join us, for the non-sugar coated reality of type 1 diabetes with a short feature film and presentations from Katia Shannon (author of the documentary Sweet 16) and Clinical Psychological Associate Michelle Sorenson. The documentary film and our guest speakers will discuss and offer their personal and professional opinion about the unspoken reality of living with type 1 diabetes. The purpose of the movie and discussion is to share, understand and learn how one can come to accept and thrive with type 1 diabetes as an individual and as a family.
