Do you feel lumps under your skin where you inject insulin? This condition is called lipohypertrophy and is common in people living with diabetes who are on insulin.
We are seeking people with diabetes, on insulin therapy, who may have lipohypertrophy and are willing to have their injection sites assessed by diabetes educators. Friday, September 19th, 2014 from 1:00-2:30pm Toronto, ON (close to Toronto Pearson Airport) We plan to use the information gathered during the session to assist with the improvement of current practice and help people with diabetes live healthier lives.
