Connie De Jong founded World Peaces out of a desire to do something more to expand her impact through Fair Trade. After over a decade expanding Fair Trade in Columbus with Global Gallery, establishing a wholesale company was a transformative decision for her life. She spends most of her efforts on the artisan design, production and community development aspects of Fair Trade, constantly seeking collaborators and experts to help uplift the work to its highest potential.

It is her desire to continue to evolve her purpose to better serve the people she believes in all around the world, from Columbus to Accra to Cochabamba to Merida to Lhasa and back again. Connie spends much of her time with artisans in their home places, and is fueled by each trip. She looks forward to meeting you in the store, traveling with you, collaborating creatively or finding ways to help each other connect with our greater purpose.
