Heritage Amanda’s love for exotic, unique and natural ingredients stems from her parents Alan and Elizabeth Connock, who set up the family business, A&E Connock in 1973. Amanda spent her childhood sampling perfumes in her Father’s office and creating floral waters in buckets from rose petals and cherry blossom with her siblings. She was inspired by the untiring work of her father who was a true pioneer of his time travelling extensively in search of unusual and innovative ingredients. After studying a University degree, Amanda joined the family business where she worked closely with her Father and gained valuable knowledge and experience in sourcing and supplying speciality ingredients from around the world to the perfumery and cosmetics industry. Amanda realised there was an opportunity to create a legacy beyond the family business and to develop products using her experience and family heritage in the world of beauty and fragrance. It was from here that Connock London was born.

Andiroba Oil is harvested from the seeds of the South American tree and is renowned for it’s anti-inflammatory properties. The Andiroba Oil used by Connock London is sourced from a factory in the Amazonian rainforest in the north of Brazil. The Andiroba seeds are wild-harvested promoting the conservation of the rainforest as well as supporting local forest communities. The fragrance is inspired by the mysterious natural beauty of the tropical Amazonian Rainforest and opens with lush, leafy top notes which are enlivened with citrus accords of Bergamot, Lemon and Brazilian Orange.
