Salvation is probably a meaningless word for most people today. It used me mean a trip to heaven instead of hell. But today it probably means to most people - having enough money to get through the month. Most people feel so oppressed by their own life and circumstances, they do not think much further than 30 days. The Bible is very unclear what salvation means. But if you look at the whole book, it clearly teaches physical immortality. Jesus says, “if you keep my saying you will never see death”. Paul in romans says, “the whole creation groans and efforts until now, waiting for the redemption of the body”. The old testament starts with people living 500 to 1000 years and says that its goal is to teach people how to eat the tree of life and life forever. The Shiva Purana says that total salvation includes the body. It was common for people in the Ramayana to live ten thousand to over 60,000 years. Physical immortality is not a new idea. There are many people on the planet who are hundreds and some thousands of years in the same body. They love life and know how to play it. Many people have levitated off the planet. This is a practical way to solve the overpopulation problem in a very victorious way. The biggest barrier to living the victorious life in the kingdom of god now seems to be emotional energy pollution - other peoples´ energy that we have to process.
So, the easiest way to achieve salvation is through spiritual enlightenment, spiritual purification, and spiritual community. Salvation Means What? by Leonard D. Orr continued from pg 1 -symptoms in the physical body. This is a warning. Solitude and silence is the ultimate healer. In these is the ultimate power. When we stop the abuse, the body can heal by itself. It is by nature a healing organism. Balance. We can learn balance. We have to be saved from our own mind and our own values. And then we have to realize the salvation from others. We learn our limits from experience. Theoretically, our energy body is invincible, it can even survive death. But if we are intelligent, we notice that death was not the solution. It was not our salvation, no matter how long we spent in heaven. Theoretically, we have infinite resources, but if this was true, no one would die. So we have to learn our limits and learn to save ourselves. “Save� is an appropriate word here. We can learn by experience that spending our energy can lead to exhaustion. Both temporary and permanent exhaustion. The death urge and negativity of other people can be dangerous. We can learn how to keep our distance or protect ourselves. We can clean ourselves with spiritual purification with the basic practices with mind, earth, air, water, fire, and loving relationships. But sometimes we can use a break, a rest. We can learn a proper balance. And when we are surrounded by people doing the same purifications, life is easier and we can do more without getting tired. Salvation is a group effort and gets easier and easier, when more people are involved in saving themselves.
The Certification Training 2012, by Leonard D. Orr The new certification training is a great success. We have 3 new certified rebirthers : Salvador Cardenes, Irene Jove, and Heike Strombach. With Fanny Van Leare and Leonard D. Orr, this makes five. The purpose of the certification process is to support the training of rebirthers, to offer some high quality rebirthing breathworkers to the public, and to give the movement dependable leaders and continuity. Irene and Heike have been rebirthers for about 20 years, salvador for about 10 years, Fanny for about 15, and me for about 40 years. Irene almost missed it because she has trouble keeping her body in shape. She won our approval because she fasted on water every other day for a month. She will continue this until her body becomes her servant instead of her master. Salvador almost missed our approval because he has too much discipline. But this year he is pacing himself and learning to relax and be more intuitive. Heike finally made it to the european convention and her story is included in this issue. Her contribution to my success and well being for the past 20 years are well known and much appreciated by me. Fanny is one of the best healers on the planet. Her common sense and intuition are brilliant. Her passion for high quality breathwork is well known and deeply appreciated by all who have been touched by her. She created 5 One Year Seminars last year and more this year. Fanny and I are both burned out and are beginning a rest period this year. We have been working too much for too many years. We deserve a break for some rest and extra spiritual purification. Fanny will be working more in South America this year and next and I more in the USA. Heike and irene are on the edge of burnout, but are doing great work and learning balance. Actually; Salvador was in the best shape of us all this year. He is also an expert Hatha yoga teacher: So the Rebirthing movement has five certified rebirthers to lead the movement for rebirth international in high quality spiritual enlightenment, spiritual purification, and spiritual community. These are the things that really work. We are actually healing the human condition. It only took 40 years to achieve this. Maybe it will go much faster from now on. We appreciate the contribution everyone in the universal breathwork movement is making. It feels really good to be supported by high quality people. These are people who are committed to healing themselves and are doing it by keeping their energy bodies clean and building spiritual communities. We actually had 4 RBI Conventions this year; in Brazil, California, Virginia, and Spain. Next year we hope to add one in Germany. We plan to combine the conventions with the 9 Day Training. Solving Relationship Problems, by Jesus Meca Many of my clients ask me the keys to solving relationship problems. It is important to have systems or methods to solve relationship problems and breakdowns when they happen, for many little things are often "the straw that breaks the camel's back." Without these tools our relationships increasingly deteriorate, have less importance and become a burden rather than an opportunity to grow, overcome challenges and expand in mutual love. It is a fact that the poor resolution of marital problems is one of the major factors that create an accumulation of resentment, frustration, and disappointment in what should be understanding, mutual support, and love. There are several questions to ask yourself to begin solving relationship problems. Grab a pen and paper and answer these questions, it will give you the key to what you already know, but don't know that you know, and need to do to enjoy your relationship:
Do you know why lovers speak so softly? Because their hearts are very close to each other and do not need to speak loudly to be heard.
In the past, how have I successfully solved relationship problems? What attitude did I have? What words did I use? What attitude did the other party have? What words did they use? Was I willing to fix what was 'broken' or did I just want to be right? Look at what has helped you in the past and use it the next time there is a problem in your relationship. Another aspect is to analyze what has not worked in the past, and to change it. Some recommendations:
Listen carefully: In listening attentively we truly hear our partner, giving them the time they need to express everything they need to say, share or explain. Demonstrate respect for your partner by not monopolizing the conversation. Allow each to talk for an equal amount of time. Perspective: To solve relationship problems, it is imperative to get into "the place of another," so you can understand why that person is feeling what they are feeling and where they are coming from with those feelings. The key is to be "empathetic" and to try to understand what is happening for the other instead of trying to defend your position and prove yourself "right." Emotional management + time: It is also important to try to be as calm as possible and keep a tone of voice that is pleasant, which may not always accompany the emotions. If the conversation is getting out of tune, it may be beneficial to take a while to calm down before continuing the conversation so you and your partner can both breathe and relax before continuing. -Instead of worsening the situation, it goes for the better. Solving Relationship Problems, by Jesus Meca continued from pg 4 -resolving what needs to be resolved, while a reactive conversation is a conversation we commonly call "defensive" where we let our emotions take control and reduce our effectiveness. Sincerity: This is a major key in any relationship, and in which all doors open. When you start to open up completely to the other side, there may be some initial vulnerability. But as sincerity takes over, you will find it much more comfortable to share honestly and authentically with your partner. Sincerity is not just to say what you think, as you think it, and when you think about it, without taking consideration to not create more hurt instead of helping. A secure environment: This is a place where we try to make everything as smooth and enjoyable as possible, as if we built a "spa" for conflict where both sides feel as quiet and "safe" as possible. When both parties agree to resolve relationship problems, each should be active with improvements, to see that the situation will not happen again, or so that the next time it happens it can be corrected or softened as soon as possible. Imagine this simple example: The man leaves the toilet seat open after using the toilet (a common scenario) and the woman bothers him about it. Rather than getting into a dispute both can agree to take a simple and pleasant action, such as to place a small love-note-sign in a conspicuous place in the bathroom for the man to be reminded to lower the cover when finished. Remember that a relationship is one of the greatest gifts to grow and evolve as people, as well as your love for another to amplify exponentially. Spiritual Community in Virginia -July RBI Convention, by Heike Hajari Strombach Yesterday was a very busy day. In the morning we did the sacred fire ceremony on Leonard’s land in Virginia. It was the third one during the 7 weeks of my stay. When Shastriji trained me in India 18 years ago, he said “be my Acharya all around the world.” He made a song for me: Hello Hajari, hello Hajari, Jagadambe tum ki pyari – Jagadamba loves you and you love Jagadamba, the divine mother. Hajari is my Indian name. But since 2 years I had not done this sacred ceremony which was practiced by Babaji all around India to cure hunger and poverty. It is the holy worship of the fire. Agni, the God of fire and his wife Swaha are the receivers of our offerings to God, to Shiva and Skakti, to the omnipresent Energy - equally distributed through space and time - and omniscient- all-knowing consciousness, the giver of life. We repeat mantras, the names and attributes of God, in honor and gratitude, to become these divine qualities, while we offer grains and fruits and flowers and ghee into the fire. A very beautiful energy gets build between us and God, as well between the participants. It was an honor to have Leonard with us.

The Convention in Virginia was so much fun. The certification meeting was the most loving experience for me. Leonard had asked me the day before if I wanted to get certified. I thought, yes, if someone fulfills the requirements then that certainly would be me. I have had a One year seminar since more than twelve years ongoing in Germany; I have taken a lot more the 70 people through ten sessions over the last 21 years – this year already more than 10. But then Leonard made the rule that I could only get certified through Fanny and him, the only certified Rebirthers in last year’s European convention, when the new certification game was created by Fanny and Leonard. Some of you know about this interesting discussion we had last year about it. So the group thought that as Fanny was not there, I could not get certified without Fanny’s approval, so the group uncertified Fanny for not coming (Just a joke, Fanny!). We were discussing the rules, the importance of participation in spiritual community, and of participation in the RBI annual convention. As last year the group had the authority to certify but this group did not (!?), the game was arbitrarily made up to enlighten us, as a fun game, understanding the purpose and importance of equal peer support. And Leonard really wants me to go to Spain, he was holding it like a carrot in front of my nose to keep me participating in the conventions. I have no attachment to the certification, but the process is fun and loving. We enjoyed much laughter, and I understood that the love created by this process of certification through spiritual friendship is the most healing experience for our self-esteem and the feelings of validation. The group certified me through their love. Feelings of Oneness, love and appreciation for one another is the outcome when we meet in the spirit of truth, simplicity and love. Herbal Colon Cleansing (Earth Element), by Hugh Michael Matheny Herbal Colon Cleansing combined with the Spiritual Purification Practices of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Love and Mind will overcome any disease (provided that you really want to heal your Death Urge - ie, you really want to be healthy). Let me make it very, very simple: If you do not have a bowel movement after each and every meal, your colon is blocked. This information is virtually unknown in Western society - so this information might shock you (because you have never heard of this). Yet - it is true. So if you are ready to stop feeling sick and tired keep reading because I have a solution for you! First, you must know the cause, so read on. Then, I'll tell you the solution. So, I will repeat - if you do not have a bowel movement after each and every meal, your colon is blocked. Colon blockage causes: heart attack, diverticulitis, stroke, intestinal polyps, cancer, diabetes, emotional illness, hypoglycemia, Alzheimer's, kidney failure, liver failure, arthritis, acidosis, asthma, parasites, flu, candida, colds, mental illness, AIDS, fearful thoughts, tuberculosis, chronic fatigue, Hodgkins, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, and impaired thinking. Now is this clear? So--- Eating meat causes colon blockage. Meat starts rotting in the intestine before it exits the body. Eating dairy causes colon blockage. Dairy also starts rotting before it exits the body. Eating flour causes colon blockage. Flour clings to the bowel wall in a gooey, sticky paste, then rots. Eating sugar causes colon blockage. Drinking alcohol causes colon blockage. Smoking cigarettes causes colon blockage. Medical doctors will not tell you the above (except for sugar, alcohol, and cigarettes). They are trained not to. Colon blockage causes constipation, toxemia, and auto intoxication. Auto intoxication causes disease. Toxemia causes disease. Auto intoxication causes more toxemia. More toxemia causes more auto intoxication. More auto intoxication causes more and bigger disease. Etc, etc, etc. Auto intoxication is the absorption of toxic materials into the bloodstream, which causes disease. There are scores of toxic chemicals which form in the bowel due to a putrid, rotting acidic environment (such as alcohol, formaldehyde, and around 30 other toxic chemicals. This environment is caused mainly from materials being held in the bowel too long (constipation) and thus they have time to form through the rotting process (rather than being expelled quickly before they can be absorbed through the colon wall into the bloodstream. Constipation is caused by atrophy (tiredness) of the large intestinal (colon) wall ( the peristaltic muscular lining) which "pinches" the inner contents (digested food) along its tract on its way to exit the body. This atrophy is caused by the multiple layers of undigested food lining the colon wall. The muscles of the colon will become tired due to having to contract with these multiple layers of fecal matter attached to them. It becomes too much of a burden and they start to weaken. Due to having eaten food that is not able to be completely digested (Mainly meat, dairy, and flour products), some portion of these foods never make it to the "exit" (anus) and become stuck to the bowel wall. This causes disease. Wherever there is a concentration of these toxins, there a disease starts. In the brain - Alzheimer's, stroke. In the nerves - Parkinson's. In any organ - cancer. Etc etera. This is the cause of ALL disease.

Herbal Colon Cleansing (Earth Element), by Hugh Michael Matheny cont. from pg 7 Herbal Colon Cleansing combined with the Spiritual Purification Practices of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Granted, emotional energy pollution and negative, unconscious thinking is a cause, but earth, air, fire and water - herbal colon cleansing is an earth element - heals the mind and body faster than the mind can heal the mind and body. There is no other cause. How bowel toxemia works is like this. Meat, dairy, and flour begin to rot in the bowel before they can be excreted from the colon. (Humans were never meant to eat animals, animal milk or processed food.) The rotting products attract organisms and parasites which excrete their waste products into the bowel. This creates a breeding ground for infection The colon is designed to remove liquid from the fecal matter (digested food), so that a solid stool (waste) is formed. The liquid is taken into the bloodstream where it is then removed and filtered out by the kidneys. The trouble is that the kidneys cannot remove all the toxins created by the liquid material containing much of the toxic rotting fecal waste in solution in Auto intoxication causes you to the blood. So the toxins now have free reign inside your body!

This situation is further compounded by constipation. (If you do not have a bowel movement within 30 minutes after each meal, you are constipated.) The human body is designed to have a bowel movement immediately after each meal. The cause of this is simple. When you chew food, chemical compounds are released in you saliva by your mouth which stimulate your entire digestive tract to start peristaltic action (ie, contracting of the muscles of the digestive tract), which "squeezes" and "pinches" the food through your digestive tract, (it is called your alimentary canal - ie, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine) on its way to the "exit" (anus).
After many years of this, and with the undigested material stuck to the wall, disease starts developing due to the rotting and putrefaction of these stuck contents, and the blockage of the "ports" on the walls of the intestines which take in the nutrients into the bloodstream. This rotting material attracts pathogenic organisms and parasites which feed off it. This causes further toxin release due to the pathogenic organisms, waste products (parasites, bacteria, yeast mold) and makes you tired, weak and sick and robs you of energy. Auto intoxication causes you to feel spacey, tired, and not present, in a daze, in a fog, and confused, and hypnotized. This is so common that most people think it is "normal". It is not. It is a symptom of (ie, an effect of) auto intoxication. You are actually intoxicated by the toxins in your body. Once your colon is blocked, there is only ONE way to remove the blockage (the rotten fecal matter lining your bowel wall): the use of herbs! Herbs are pleasant. It is impossible to harm yourself or overdose on herbs. There is a herb for each and every ailment in your body, and they all work together to remove toxic (rotten) fecal waste from your colon wall. The Science of Changing Your Mind: a Rebirther’s Perspective, by Joe Jennings Thought is creative. We think, therefore we are. What we think, we create. Phrases I am sure you have all heard before. Phrases I am sure many of you believe. Some may even have direct experience of manifesting events, objects or people in their life by playing with some kind of visualization or similar tool. I am sure many others have felt frustrated and disillusioned at what seems to be such a simple, perhaps even obvious, tenant, yet bore no fruits for them. There is a simple reason for this. We are not aware of all of our thoughts. Indeed it is believed that we are only aware of 10-30% of our thoughts. This is because the majority of our thoughts occur at a subconscious level. It is here where our past thoughts are stored and repeated until they become beliefs through which we create and interpret our reality. Therefore if we are going to truly change our circumstances we have to change the thought patterns in our subconscious mind. The mind tends to learn, that is integrate to a subconscious level, the level where all of our beliefs and behavioral patterns reside, through repetition. So, if we wish to replace an identified limiting belief with a new, more life affirming belief we can do this via repetition. The way we do this in Rebirthing is with affirmations. Affirmations are, like mantras, powerful phrases that lift our thinking, believing and vibration into a place of love and trust. Once we have identified the pattern we want to work with the simplest thing to do is repeat its opposite. For instance, if the pattern were 'I am bad' we could use 'I am good'. There are many different ideas and beliefs about affirmations. Certainly when I started with them I was full of doubts; how could something so simple and seemingly pointless be believed to be so powerful at effecting change in ones life? The simplest answer being that everything we experience is created via our beliefs so if we want to improve anything and everything we just need to update them. Knowing this and being very curious I persevered with the 'prescribed' affirmation and was amazed by the results. Admittedly it took me a month or two to get into the habit of actually doing them, but once I had I never looked back. There are many ways of doing affirmations, some more useful, some less. The way we recommend is to write down the affirmation at least ten times, once a day, for twenty one days. Twenty-one days is the minimum time it takes to learn via repetition. This is true of integrating a daily routine change and learning a manual skill as well. I have personally experimented over and over with different ways. I have found that less than ten repetitions a day is not very effective, nor is doing them for less than twenty-one days. More is good but does not make a massive difference. One can do as many affirmations as desired at any give time so long as each one is written ten times a day for twenty-one days. It does not matter if a few days are missed so long as they are added at the end. The most I have missed in a twenty-one day period was six, I just added six days to the period and it worked just as well. These six days, however, were spread out over the period. I think if six consecutive days were missed then the momentum would be lost and one would have to start that affirmation cycle again. Currently I do a page of affirmations a day, which is usually three, four if two are very short. I found, personally, if I try to do more it feels like a chore and I was loosing my motivation. It is important to do your first set like this to establish a baseline of how effective and beneficial affirmations can be. Then by all means experiment and see if anything else works better for you. I'd also recommend just starting with one affirmation to keep it simple and observe the changes without any other variables. Continued on page 12... This is because whilst writing we are repeating, seeing and moving. By involving the body we involve and help penetrate the subconscious. Indeed the body is the physical counterpart to the subconscious as it is in the body that many of the deep emotional memories are stored or manifest themselves. It may be possible to integrate affirmations by mental repetition alone, or other means, but a high degree of mental control would be necessary. Something I do not think many would have. I certainly still need the crutch of writing. Again, experiment with other methods, but get a baseline for comparison first. The column response technique Another useful tool for affirmations is the column response technique. In this we make three columns. In the first, write the affirmation. In the second, after each line of affirmation, write down the physical, mental or emotional response to the affirmation. Then, in the third, once the first and second are complete, you can make affirmations for any negative patterns that arose. For example; 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
I am good... How can I be good? I am stupid... I am not stupid, I am intelligent I am good... I feel a pleasurable vibration up my spine I am good... I am not good, I hurt people... I only spread love I am good... I am not good, I am bad... It is ok to be bad I am good... I don't believe this, I am ugly... I am a beautiful divine manifestation
Of the above five examples some features are note worthy. In the response to number one a negative is used in the affirmation. Some believe that the mind cannot distinguish between positive and negative and only manifest what we put our attention on. Whilst I agree with this notion the whole purpose of affirmations is to insert a new though, thus negatives are always coupled with a positive opposite. Also it is often helpful to renounce the old whilst inserting the new. In the second example we see that sometimes positive and physical reactions can be had. In the third we see that the actual pattern need not necessarily be directly addressed if a greater, wider thought can be integrated that will thus automatically replace the pattern. However, as shown in example four, sometimes larger thoughts are difficult to integrate and a transition affirmation must be used. The fifth example shows that it can be nice to insert spiritual affirmations, if we are that way inclined. Humor can also be a very helpful tool to incorporate as when we can laugh about a problem it instantly has less power over us. This exercise, therefore, helps us to understand how the mind works. Helps us to get in touch with our inner voice. Shows us how patterns are often knotted in with each other, and shows us what overlaps with what, enabling us to rapidly identify the patterns we have and how we can work on them. When we first start using affirmations, and often when starting new affirmation cycles our ego tries to stop us. It still sometimes happens to me and I find it incredibly interesting to watch this inner voice and the techniques it uses. In the first week of writing the affirmation(s) it questions the whole exercise; why am I doing this? What a waste of time! I must be really stupid for listening to the person who told me to do this... They must be really stupid for believing in it. And on and on. However, if you make it to the second week some subtle changes in the way you behave and experience events will begin to occur. The ego will probably still be jabbering on but usually the effects are enough to keep the motivation high. By the third week the ego has usually shut up and the effects become very clear and obvious. The hilarious thing is that each time we start a set of affirmations the ego plays the same game. It is really rather amusing how silly it can be and all just to try and maintain the status quo. As we work through our patterns life becomes easier and easier, more joyous and we begin to unlock our creative potential and discover our purpose in life. It can take a long time to clear all of our patterns, some say 50-80 years. But do not be put off! Each time we finish an affirmation cycle there is a large shift in our life. It is always life changing by definition but sometimes it is really life changing! All patterns are equal but some are more equal than others. Some patterns are quite small and simple whereas some have many layers, are tangled with others and have lots of aspects to them. The best way to picture this is like the root structure around a large tree. The roots of the tree are the main patterns we have. It's large tap root is our deepest darkest pattern, also called the personal lie. It is the deepest and largest root of all and all the other roots in the system are somehow related to it. It has many branches. There are also many other roots in the ground aside from that of the tree. Most are much more shallow yet also much more tangled. Some roots are easy to pull out. Sometimes when you pull some out that are tangled you pull others out at the same time, especially if you pull out a deep one. Sometimes you loosen the surrounding roots. Often when you are pulling out a deep root it will snap, leaving part behind in the ground. This is exactly how it is with patterns. Some are much deeper, many are related. Each time we do a set of affirmations we will remove at least a part of the pattern. Sometimes all of it, sometimes others will be loosened at the same time. If we are working on a particularly deep pattern, however, it is unlikely we will be able to get it all out in one go. We may have to approach it from many different angles, taking out its supporting roots, before we can get the whole thing out. But each time we complete a cycle we will at least scrape away a layer and feel much lighter because of it. In summary •

Safe & Immortal in NYC, Fire by Peace Arnold I built a fire today that called to the mountains, and in return coyote wailed... A dhuni is an open shelter, roof and windshield sides coming up about 2/3's of the height. In the center is an open fire. Mine is in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I have a sleeping platform beside the fire where I rest and sit tending the fire; building my relationship with Fire. Some say Fire is the mouth of the Divine Mother. Fire, as I have come to know it, is the primary component of the principle of renewal. Fire releases old constructs back into elemental components to be recycled, reorganized, restructured, renewed… a continuous cycle of eternal renewal.. Creation and Re-Creation; God at Play…. It takes and open fire to truly demonstrate this ability and function of Fire and it helps, tremendously to be outside in nature to experience our place in the vastness of it all…

Fire requires the greatest degree of conscious intelligence of all the elements to work with safely. When I am in NYC I drive out to family on Long Island and use a fire bowl from time to time… this Fall I will explore campgrounds in Westchester for barbecue grills that I might use. I, sometimes, use tea light candles on a dish inside my apartment for fire purification. There is a simple meditation developed by Leonard Orr for determining the number of candles an individual needs in order to be useful as a purification practice. I will include this, below. The fire bowl works wonders. The tea lights are most effective, I find, when used with conscious focused attention and Mantra. I use Mantra’s of Immortality for this practice. Spending time in nature with fire is one of the most intelligent and valuable ways we can spend time. That moment when my breathing mechanism frees up, the mental noise stops and I experience silence, is magical. It is a return to sanity and a great relief. And, it is by contrast that I know it. There are no words that will make anyone understand about fire... only experience can accomplish this and, I hope you give yourself the opportunity to truly and deeply experience the effects of fire on your energy system and on your mental well being. 'The physical world is Earth, Air, Water, and Fire Intelligently, (Intelligence/Mind) interacting.' Leonard D. Orr. As such, it is necessary to use all these elements to clear what has already been created and recreate and renew ourselves effectively. To quote Leonard Orr, "Earth, Air, Water, and Fire can clear the Mind faster than the Mind can clear the Mind." Let's use them to our advantage and for the benefit of all (The following is adapted from Leonard Orr seminars) Candle Meditation for Fire Purification: To determine the number of candles you needs to burn for effective fire purification: 1. Set 12 candles and line them up in front of you - unlit. 2. Close your eyes and bring your attention to your body and tune into your 'bodily sensations' until you get a good aware sense of them. 3. If not, open your eyes and light a 2nd candle. 6. Repeat this procedure until, at some point you perceive a noticeable shift in the bodily sensations. I call it a feeling of increased movement or activation, however you might describe it is not important. 7. if you do not notice any shift by the time you reach the 12th candle, then, use 12 candles. Now that you know how many candles you need to light in order to effectively experience fire purification you do not need to repeat the above meditation.. I often incorporate mantra as part of my fire purification practice with the following mantras. Mantras of Immortality: Om Namaha Shivai or Shivaiya The Eternal Name of God, The Eternal Trinity. This is the Supreme Mantra, common to all religions. Jai Maha Maya Ki Victory to the Divine Physical Body. This is the Physical Immortality. Jai Maha Mritunjai: Supreme Victory over Death.
