Design and construction of a bridge.

Practice: Each student will design and build a small bridge out of the 72 meccano pieces given. The brigde must be stable and will cover the largest possible span. There are no limits to the form or strength of supports.
Documents to submit: Each group will deliver a single digital document, which must include a deep analysis of the material/system/design/experience, including models if necessary. Be submitted basic information only. All drawings and details will be properly defined. The study will justify the appropriateness of the strategies adopted. Recommended reading: Heyman, J. 1999.
