Schedule:
35 Hours per week Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm Established in 1973, CIS provide construction market leads and research information for the Construction and Business community in Ireland. Information is delivered to customers through our website (www.cisireland.com) and through weekly reports and other electronic means To research and gather information on construction projects in Ireland (North and South). The main sources of the project information are planning applications and public sector tenders. The primary form of research is through telephone calls to companies within the construction industry, including architects and contractors, and to government bodies, developers and companies undertaking the building projects. Secondary forms of research involve checking websites, newspapers and contacting people by email. All information is recorded in our in-house research system before being published online and in our weekly reports. Excellent and confident telephone manner Confident and proficient in the use of IT Excellent verbal and written communication skills Accuracy and attention to detail Experience in the of MS Office applications Good geographical knowledge of Ireland Working knowledge of Irish Construction Industry Inquisitive and persistent Positive & enthusiastic attitude Self-motivated Reliable Team player Methodical Able to work under pressure and to deadlines At a minimum the candidate should possess a high standard of English, both written and verbal. A third level degree is desirable but not mandatory with relevant skills and experience
