Government funded summer schemes by Gerard Chadwick Dear Sir/Madam, In this bulletin I am pleased to bring you details on 357 publicly funded projects within the 2011 Schools Summer Works scheme as well as the Sustainable Transport sector. Sustainable Transport Projects 34 projects - €5 Million
Earlier this month Transport Minister Leo Varadkar announced an allocation of €5 million to be spent on sustainable transport projects. An initial 25 schemes were announced, however subsequently our dedicated researchers have been able to uncover 9 additional schemes to bring the current total in our system to 34.

323 Opportunities in Roofing, Access, Windows, Toilet Facilities According to our research 323 of the goverment funded Summer Schools programme 2011 fall into the following categories. These 323 projects come in addition to the 450+ schools previously approved for Mechanical and Electrical works.

40 new schools to be established in next six years – Minister Quinn 27/6/11 The Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairí Quinn T.D., today announced that 20 new primary schools and 20 new post-primary schools are to be established in the next six years.
