Pair of Komatsu East employees name new Komatsu East Insider magazine that will feature personal stories, corporate updates and global perspectives

John J.W. Dickerson and Chris Lutchmansingh have officially unveiled the name for Komatsu East’s new magazine: Komatsu East Insider. The magazine will be a blend of personal stories, corporate updates and global perspectives, ensuring every reader feels like a part of the Komatsu family. The title was selected through the collaborative effort of Dickerson and Lutchmansingh, and it captures the spirit of the publication as well as the company’s commitment to transparency and customer engagement.

Komatsu East hopes to enhance customer relations and provide valuable insights into the company's global operations with its new magazine, Komatsu East Insider.

Lutchmansingh, who has been a service supervisor at Komatsu East for nearly four years, explained his rationale behind the name.

“I’d heard of the Insider magazine, so initially, I thought Komatsu Insider, but adding East gave it a unique ring,” said Lutchmansingh. “It sounded right, and it truly represents our region.”

Dickerson, a Baltimore-based product support sales representative (PSSR) who has been with Komatsu for 12 years, echoed this sentiment.

“The name Komatsu East Insider caught my ear immediately,” remarked Dickerson. “It opens up what makes our company great and showcases our daily operations. It’s about giving our customers an inside look at what we do to help them and grow with Komatsu.”

The idea behind the magazine name aligns with Komatsu East’s philosophy of offering a deeper connection to its diverse set of customers.

Lutchmansingh emphasized the personal touch, noting, “We want to give customers an insider perspective on what’s going on with the business and how they can benefit from Komatsu and our allied products. It creates a better level of comfort and engagement.”

Both Dickerson and Lutchmansingh are excited about the magazine’s potential to enhance customer relations and provide valuable insights into the company’s global operations. They believe the publication will not only highlight the achievements and offerings of Komatsu East but also foster a sense of community among employees and customers alike. ■
