Developed from detailed analysis of the foot based upon its maximum efforts and strengths we developed the Natural Confort 11 last. We know now that during the different phases of the working day our feet can have variations that are very relevant. Natural Confort 11 ensures a stress-free fitting and natural comfort throughout the day.

The purpose of the toe cap is to protect the toes from bumps and crushes and to provide security for the foot.

For this reason, the choice of the material with which it is made is of fundamental importance.

our technology

Anatomic insole designed by studying the morphology of the foot, is manufactured with a dual PE and EVA support system coated with a textile surface. Extremely comfortable, anti bacterial and anti-static, insole, for always cool and fresh feet.

Using our footwear experience, we have developed a footbed that ensures comfort all day long. It combines a support in EVA with open cells textile which keeps it dry and antifungal. Extremely light and non slip, it guarantees maximum performance even in extreme working environments.

Anatomic insole very soft with open microcells, light and breathable. Thanks to the pairing with an extremely light material it ensures fresh and dry feet throughout the workday.

Exclusive insole in real leather with EVA support, thanks to the special tanning procedure it is anti bacterial. After lengthy study of the foot’s anatomy, this insole offers great side support to your heel, the special gel insert assure shock absorption generated during working activity. An insole which assures fresh and dry feet, even after many working hours.

PROVEN QUALITY UNDER UNCOMPROMISING TESTING CONDITIONS.

More than the sum of its parts

All footwear parts (leathers, textiles, laces, foams, threads) and the entire boot construction are geared towards maximum performance in the final end use and subjected to uncompromising quality control during all phases of the product

development and production.

GORE-TEX Footwear by far exceeds the requirements of the standard EN ISO 20345/347 with respect to waterproofness, breathability and durability.

Durable Waterproofness

GORE-TEX Footwear has to withstand up to 300,000 flex movements (80 hours) in ankle-high water – without allowing one single drop of water to penetrate inside the boot. EN ISO standard 20344 requires only 4800 flexes (80 minutes) and 3 cm2 water entry is allowed.

Breathability

The materials used in GORE-TEX Footwear achieve a breathability value up to six times higher than the values specifi ed in EN ISO standard 20345/47.

Durability

Inner lining and upper materials of GORE-TEX Footwear have to withstand up to four times more abrasion movement than specified in by the EN ISO standard.

Who is Michele Montagna?

Professional Kinesiologist (from the Greek kinesis = movement and lógos = office) is a researcher in the field of Human Movement.

What does he do?

His professional career aims at studying how musculoskeletal system disorders affect the General Health condition.

He is a supporter of the scientific principles of static - dynamic rebalancing, with respect to postural perturbations, in order to positively influence human body dysfunctions, through spontaneous healing processes.

He is involved in project management and strategic planning, concerning Prevention issues, Occupational Ergonomics, Occupational Health and Safety at Work (Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008), Sport and Wellness.

He is currently Kinesiologist and Professor of Occupational Ergonomics, in the Prevention of Occupational Musculoskeletal Disorders, a topic on which he wrote a manual for workers (ABC per la Prevenzione dei Disturbi Muscolo Articolari (ABC’s for the Prevention of Muscular Joint Disorders) - EPC Editor).

What would happen if we had to work on an extremely slippery floor? Instinctively we would be inclined to slow the pace and movements down, but without the certainty of having a guaranteed grip-safe tread. Informative Notes - Clothing Protection against rain

Instructions for use

The PPE has been designed using the essential safety and health prescribed by Directive UE 2016/425 transposed by Legislative Decree no. 475/92, as amended, and in such a way as to be in compliance with UNI EN ISO 13688:2013 on the general requirements for protective clothing.

The PPE is designed so that, in the foreseeable conditions of use, can provide adequate protection to the user and can be classified according to Directive UE 2016/425 in the second category and according to the standard of your products, the resulting performance the evidence to which the prototypes were subjected. Such benefits are indicated by the pictogram and its indexes to it side by side, determinants on the basis of instructions given in product standards to which the PPE is compliant.

Warnings

– The user shall determine, based on the assessment of the possible risks, the need to match the PPE to other devices for protection of the remaining parts of the body.

The per formance of the garment is guaranteed when choosing the right size, is properly worn and fastened.

If the PPE is damaged or a visual defect should appear, stop using your PPE and replace it with a suitable one.

– This Informativ e Note must be kept for the duration of the PPE in use.

No modification of the PPE is allowed.

Operating limits - the PPE does not protect from:

risk of entanglement in moving parts;

risk of chemical attack (acids, solvents, etc);

risk of physical injur y (cutting, drilling, etc);

thermal hazards;

risks of crossing and flame extinction;

risks of poor visibility;

– any risk that the device has not been certified.

Marking

The label bearing the CE marking can be fixed inside the garment. The characters and pictograms indicate the garment's storage instructions. The font sizes are larger than 2 mm and the dimensions of the written EC are greater than 5 mm. The specific size of the garment will be placed on a separate label (size label).

Indications:

1. Brand of manufacture;

2. Pictogram and tables measures, indicating the standard to which the directive is compliant;

3. CE marking and the categor y of PPE;

4. A ddress of the manufacturer.

REACH

In order to safeguard the health of consumers, the European Parliament has issued the "REACH" Regulation (an acronym for "Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals"), which has the following objectives:

- to improve knowledge of hazards and risks from chemicals in order to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment;

- to promote the development of alternative methods to those requiring the use of vertebrate animals for the evaluation of the hazards of substances;- mantenere e rafforzare la competitività e le capacità innovative dell’industria chimica dell’UE.

- to maintain and to reinforce the competitiveness and innovative capacities of the EU chemical industry.

UPOWER guarantees compliance with the REACH Regulations for all garments in the collection; they do not contain prohibited or limited substances and to guarantee this, rigorous controls are carried out on all the materials used during production.

UNI EN 343 performance levels

This standard specifies the requirements on materials and seams of protective clothing by factors such as rain, snow, fog, and soil moisture. The garments are designed and constructed using waterproof and breathable fabrics paying particular attention to sealing all seams to ensure a high level of comfort.

x = class refers to the impermeability of the garment (class 1 to 3) y = class refers to the breathability of the garment (class 1 to 3)

High-visibility warning clothing for professional use EN ISO 20471 requirements and test methods

EN ISO 20471: 2013/A1:2016: this standard specifies the requirements for high visibility clothing so that all people who work in low-light conditions, both during the day and during the night, are always visible. The fluorescent fabric ensures great visibility in daylight, while the reflective strips provide high visibility at night. The clothing is divided into 3 classes, where class 3 is the most luminescent. Putting together two garments of class 2 (eg. Trousers + jacket) is equivalent to class 3.

x = classification of area covered of the retro-reflective background material (see table 1, class 1 to 3)

y = classification of retro-reflective material (class 1 to 2)

OEKO-TEX® is a voluntary certification of product through which the certified company commits itself to keep in time the safeness of its own products. The OEKO-TEX® 100 mark guarantees that the textiles (or accessories of the textiles, metallic ones included) do not contain or release harmful substances for the consumer (pesticides, heavy metals, formaldehyde, aromatic amines, allergy-inducing dyestuffs and so on). The garments certified by OEKO-TEX® comply with the requirements demanded by the standard EN ISO 13688:2022 and they abide by the requirements of the attachment XVII of REACH.

UNI EN 14058

The standard specifies requirements and tests methods for the performance of each individual item of clothing for the protection of the body from cooling in cold environments. This standard does not involve specific requirements for headpieces, shoes, or gloves for local protection from cooling. This standard establishes the requirements for the individual protection clothing to be used at temperatures of -5° C and above.

Convective cold. Based on the thermal insulation properties of the glove which are obtained by measuring the transfer of cold via convection. 0 - 4 where 4 is best

B Contact cold. Based on the thermal resistance of the glove material when exposed to contact with a cold object. 0 - 4 where 4 is best

C Capability of resisting water (5 min.). 0 = water penetration after 5 minutes of exposure 1 = no water penetration. 0 o 1*

Informative Notes - Protective Gloves

EN 388 Pr otective gloves against mechanical risks

Protection from physical and mechanical hazards caused by abrasion, sharp objects, tear and perforation.

EN407:2020

Protective gloves against heat and/or flame (EN 407:2020). Gloves with a fire behaviour level 1 or 2 must not be exposed to or come into contact with open flames. The numbers indicated under the pictogram (1 to 4) correspond to the levels of protection offered: fire behaviour, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, small splashes of molten metal, large

XXXXXX projections of molten metal. The letter X indicates that the glove is not intended for that use (see Table B).

Note: In case of entanglement would be appropriate that the tear resistance of the glove was as low as possible so as to free the operator easily. "0"= the glove did not pass the test / "X" = the glove has not been proven.

"Gloves that have not been tested with the blade cut test (B) will have a letter "X" indicating that they have not been tested and only the result of the ISO 13997 cut test (E) will be displayed as shown in the glove markings."

The textile manufacturing process STONEY is used to give to a new garment a unique colour and characteristic. The stone wash helps to improve the softness and flexibility of the fibres.

COMBAT is a system of reinforcement in the hem of the trousers using a special anti-abrasive material. Protecting the cloth in environments where elements such as water, cement etc.. putting an extra strain on the traditional working fabrics.

FREE SOUND is created for practicality in everyday life. U-POWER clothes have a system of soft silicone that allows your earphones to pass through the jacket from the inside pocket, ensuring tangle free cables and reducing potential damage.

It is a fabric made of flexible and light materials, able to shield and block the electromagnetic waves produced by mobile phones. BESAFE offers better body protection against risks to human health from electromagnetic pollution.

The PA MICROFIBER structure retains unique properties of breathability, quick drying and soft hand touch resulting in a superior comfort. Furthermore its high covering-power and tenacity make the garment particularly lightweight and durable.

POWERFIT is a high-performing fabric introduced into material of the product offering graduated compression, ensuring better circulation and improving the cool-down as a result of scientific research. POWERFIT is made with seamless technology, for maximum comfort.

U-4 is an elasticated fabric that stretches in 4 directions allowing full freedom of movement. Tear resistant and pleasantly soft on the skin, it is a fabric that moves with the body offering a high level of comfort. Moreover, it dries quickly, is water repellent and highly breathable.

U-TEX is a TPU membrane (Thermoplastic Polyurethane): elastic in 4 directions, super light, ultrathin, resistant to oil and grease, with great properties of breathability and water resistance.

Allowing the wearer to use the touch screens on smartphones and tablets without compromising safety and security in the workplace, through a special conductive fibre inserted within the index finger. TAP&TOUCH gloves are compatible with all touch screen devices.

GRAPHENE Extremely thin, lightweight, very flexible, durable material with antibacterial and antistatic properties. Graphene applied to fabrics is able to evenly distribute body heat by ‘shifting’ heat from the hottest to the coldest points.
