PHILADELPHIA The arts and sciences, history and heritage, not to mention good old fashioned American ingenuity all have one thing in common Philadelphia. Here, in the City of Brotherly Love, celebrated historical sites, cultural venues, and a cheese steak rivalry are to be found, with limitless opportunities for exploration making each visit an adventure. Dubbed America’s Birthplace, Philadelphia is home to Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was penned in 1776, and the Liberty Bell, fabled for the crack running along its face. American history comes to life at the Betsy Ross House and the Franklin Institute while the National Museum of American Jewish History and African American Museum celebrate the American people. Did you know that Rodin’s The Thinker is lost in thought at Philly’s Rodin Museum? Or that slides of Albert Einstein’s brain can be viewed at the Mütter Museum? Did you know that Grace Kelly, Billie Holiday and Family Circus’ Bil Keane all hailed from Philadelphia? Of course, no visit to Philadelphia would be complete without joining the Philly Cheese Steak debate. Who does it better: Pat’s King of Steaks or Geno’s Steaks? Luckily there is no wrong answer. So far. Visit Philadelphia www.visitphilly.com
