Suzanne McMurtry Baird is a DNP with significant clinical experience caring for critically ill pregnant women. She has served on numerous programs for the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics, and Neonatal Nursing (AWHONN) and authored numerous journal articles and book chapters on high risk and critical care obstetric topics, including the Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing, Intrapartum Management Modules (5th Edition), and AWHONN High Risk and Critical Care (4th Edition). Suzanne is also the recipient of the 2017 Award of Excellence in Clinical Education for her 34-year career of educating nurses and other obstetric clinicians.

Stephanie Martin is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine and the Medical Director and co-owner of Clinical Concepts in Obstetrics, LLC. Dr. Martin is a highly regarded speaker, educator and author of numerous journal articles and book chapters on critical care obstetric topics. She is also active in the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine, having most recently served on the Board of Directors, and continues to serve as peer reviewer for American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Adam Snyder is a Partner of Hughes Socol Piers Resnick Dym, Ltd., where his practice focuses on the defense of hospitals, nurses, and physicians in medical malpractice matters. The majority of his practice concentrates on the defense of birth trauma and wrongful death matters and issues involving women’s health. Outside of the daily practice of law, Adam serves as a contributing editor to wellknown legal publications and frequently lectures to health care providers and risk professionals at clinical and legal conferences on birth trauma litigation.
