1. Go to your travel agent – Your travel agent will confirm with Contiki that there’s availability on the tour you’ve chosen. At the same time, your travel agent can book your hotel accommodation before and/or after your tour. Remember, the exclusive ‘Free night in London’* offer is only valid at time of booking on all Gap bookings made before 31 December 2012.
2. Pay your deposit – At the time of booking, pay your travel agent a non-refundable deposit of NZ$200 per person per tour which must be sent to Contiki within 7 days. This payment is in addition to any deposit required by your travel agent. Once your deposit has been received, Contiki will send confirmation of your booking details to your travel agent.
3. Check-in – Register your details with Contiki online at contiki.com/checkin for tips to help you get ready for your trip and to save time when you start your tour.
4. Full payment – You must pay the balance of your holiday fare to Contiki through your travel agent no later then 31 March 2013, or at the time of booking if after 31 March 2013. Cancellations will incur cancellation fees of up to 100% (refer to contiki.com/gapyear for full cancellation policy).
5. Documents – Contiki will then send your travel vouchers and detailed information about your holiday to your travel agent.

In January 2013 the number of passengers on each Contiki Gap tour will be assessed and the tour may be opened for sale to Contiki’s broader 18 to 35 year old demographic.
