Travel bubbles

From start to finish, on your trip you’ll be traveling with your ‘travel bubble’ of Contiki travelers. All activities & meals will be with these travelers only, & everything will be overseen by your highly trained Trip Manager. We’ve vetted all local suppliers & guides to ensure that hygiene & distancing protocols are adhered to at all times.

PRE TRIP

From booking to right before you leave, we’ll keep in touch, & make sure you’re up to date & ready to go.

OUR FLEXIBILITY PROMISE

We’ve made it easy to change your travel plans up to 30 days prior to your trip’s departure date. You can choose new dates &/or a new destination without penalty on the land portion of your trip.

PRE-TRIP HEALTH DECLARATION

All travelers will complete a personal wellness declaration before joining a trip. If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 or are traveling with someone who has, you will not be able to join the trip until cleared as ‘fit fortravel’ by a medical professional.

AIR TRAVEL

Specific details will vary by airline, but standard operations typically include flight attendants wearing masks, sanitising all surfaces between flights & enhanced hygiene protocols. Check with your airline for any change of travel plan fees as these may still apply outside The Travel Corporation Flexibility Promise time frame of 30 days. We recommend travel insurance for any problems that may arise within 30 days of your trip starting.

ALL THE LATEST INFO

We’ll be in touch before your trip kicks off with a detailed email, sharing health & hygiene guidelines in accordance with the local guidelines specific to your trip, as well as information around how to recognize COVID-19 symptoms. We want you to feel as prepared as possible by the time your trip departs.

ARRIVAL & WELCOME

At a kick off meeting, your Trip Manager will cover what you canexpect & all the necessary well-beingprecautions on trip. These meeting times have been arranged so you won’t encounter other groupsunnecessarily.

YOUR TRIP MANAGER

Trip Managers will submit a Self- Health Declaration prior & post trip. Our industry leading traininghas been adapted & enhancedto include a dedicated module ondealing with COVID-19. They, & our Traveler Support team are available24/7 throughout the trip should any situation arise.

PHYSICAL DISTANCING & GROUP SIZE

We control our group sizes in each region to ensure we comply with every destination’s distancing requirements& for the peace of mind of all of our travelers.

PPE

It is important that you bring your own face mask to comply with regional guidelines. It is also a good idea to bring hand sanitizer, though it will be available on the coach at all times.

COACHES

Our coaches are thoroughly sanitized before the start of your trip. Our drivers are trained on all the latest hygiene protocols & will clean & disinfect all coach surfaces daily. Plus we’ve got new protocols to get on & off our coaches to ensure physical distancing is maintained.

SIGHTSEEING, LOCAL GUIDES, HOTELS & RESTAURANTS

Every supplier must be fully compliant with locally mandated standards for us to work with them. We’ll arrange priority entrance whenever possible & ensure physical distancing throughout. All our Local Guides will have been trained on hygiene protocols & provided with the same checklists & standards your TripManager will adhere to.

AFTER YOUR TRIP

We ask travelers to be in touch should they develop symptoms within 14 days of the trip ending, so that we can alert all travelers & the Trip Manager of your trip.

WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMEONE ON MY TRIP EXHIBITS SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19?

Steps include but are not limited to:

• Quickly acting to place distance between the unwell traveler & others

• Depending on location this may be through physical distance or use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a face covering & disposable gloves

• Seeking medical advice & facilitating testing

• Liaising with local authorities & following their directives

WHAT PROTOCOLS DO YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS & RESTAURANT PARTNERS FOLLOW?

All our accommodations & restaurant partners will:

• Adhere to our standards & follow minimum guidelines with hygiene protocols, cleaning sanitisation

• Ensure all staff are trained in new protocols

• No longer offer shared finger food & where possible avoid self-serve buffets

• Ensure appropriate physical distancing of tables, seating & other public areas

• Offer hand sanitizer in key locations

• Thoroughly santise rooms between travelers

• Frequently clean & monitor high traffic areas
