1. Go to your travel agent – Your travel agent will confirm with Contiki that there’s availability on the tour you’ve chosen. At the same time, your travel agent can book your hotel accommodation before and/or after your tour. Remember, the exclusive ‘Free night in London*’ offer is only valid at time of booking on all Gap bookings made before 31 December 2011.
2. Pay your deposit – At the time of booking, pay your travel agent a non-refundable deposit of A$200 per person per tour which must be sent to Contiki within 7 days. This payment is in addition to any deposit required by your travel agent. Once your deposit has been received, Contiki will send confirmation of your booking details to your travel agent.
3. Check-in – Register your details with Contiki online at www.contiki.com.au/checkin for tips to help you get ready for your trip and to save time when you start your tour. Plus you will get instant access to perks like discounts on luggage, Lonely Planet guidebooks and movies.
4. Full payment – You must pay the balance of your holiday fare to Contiki through your travel agent no later then 31 March 2012, or at the time of booking if after 31 March 2012. Cancellations will incur cancellation fees of up to 100% (refer to www. contiki.com.au/gapyear for full cancellation policy).
5. Documents – Contiki will then send your travel vouchers and detailed information about your holiday to your travel agent.

Prices for the 32-days Camping tour are based on per person twin-share. In order to reserve your holiday, a non-refundable, nontransferable deposit of A$200 per person per tour, or the full amount payable if the booking is made after 31 March 2012, must be paid to Contiki or your reservation will automatically be cancelled. This payment is in addition to any deposit required by your travel agent. The full balance of your holiday must be paid no later than 31 March 2012, or at time of booking if made after 31 March 2012, to avoid cancellation and cancellation charges. Cancellations will incur fees of up to 100% (refer to www.contiki.com.au/gapyear for full cancellation policy). Passengers must be 17 years + by date of departure. Passengers aged 17 years must complete an underage booking form and are on a request status until approved by Contiki Europe. Contiki Gap tours are available to students applying for a UK Youth Mobility Visa in 2012, along with their friends and other travellers with the average age on the tour being 17 to 19 years old. In January 2012 the number of passengers on each Contiki Gap tour will be assessed and the tour may be opened for sale to Contiki’s broader 18 to 35 year old demographic. Contiki reserves the right to vary tour itineraries and substitute hotels. Contiki is not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our changes. Prices are the guaranteed maximum you will have to pay for your Contiki’s Gap tour. However on release of Contiki Europe 2012/13 in late 2011 should exchange rates move we will offer you the lower price and refund the difference on money paid. *The ‘Free night in London’ offer is based in triple-share rooms at the Royal National Hotel and applies to all bookings made before 31 December 2011 but only when requested at time of booking. The free night must be taken the night before your tour commences or the night your tour ends. Not combinable with any other promotions or offers.
