Wildlife and Parks

The London Wetland Centre, located in Barnes, is a 105-acre nature reserve that is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including ducks, geese, swans, otters, and even flamingos. Visitors can explore the reserve’s boardwalks, hides, and wetland habitats to observe the wildlife and learn about wetland conservation.

Richmond Park, a former hunting ground of King Henry VIII, is a 2,500-acre royal park that is home to over 600 deer. Visitors can walk, cycle, or horse ride through the park’s open spaces, woodlands, and gardens, and enjoy stunning views of the city skyline from its highest point, King Henry’s Mound.

The Deer Park, located in the grounds of Hampton Court Palace, is a 700-acre park that is home to herds of fallow and red deer. Visitors can take a guided tour of the park to learn about its history and wildlife, or simply enjoy a peaceful stroll through its ancient woodlands and grasslands.

Terrace Gardens Richmond is a hidden gem located behind Richmond Hill. It is a perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax in a peaceful oasis surrounded by flowers, trees, and water features.

Historic Houses

Hampton Court Palace, located in East Molesey, is a magnificent Tudor palace that was once home to King Henry VIII. Visitors can explore the palace’s state apartments, kitchens, and gardens, and learn about the lives of the Tudor monarchs who once lived there.
