Italy at Hand, The event – the three-day programme 24 pre-scheduled appointments and unconventional business functions with the guarantee of meeting all the buyers present. Florence, 9th August – Pre-scheduled business appointments and networking in an unconventional frame and set in some of the most beautiful venues in Bologna, are some of the elements which will characterise the 3-day programme of Italy at Hand, The Event. It will be the first ever interactive MICE b2b international event and will take place from 1st to 3rd November in Bologna organised by Convention Bureau Italia. Opening Night on 1st November will kick off the event and will be held in the unique setting of Palazzo Pepoli, seat of the Museum of History in Bologna. The evening will have various convivial moments in typically Italian style with the aperitif and stand-up dinner party as well as many networking activities for all the participants. The morning of 2nd November will be dedicated to classical business meetings in Palazzo Re Enzo. There will in fact be 14 pre-scheduled appointments between Italian suppliers and international buyers which will set the tone of the programme. This will be followed by lunch. The afternoon will be dedicated to the activities of Italy at Hand where the real protagonists will be Italian craftsmanship and know-how in an unconventional business context. The activities will involve our outstanding partners, leaders of Made in Italy, such as Pagani Automobili who will bring alive the essence of Italian traditions to the participants or Le Cesarine who will throw open a private residence for a cooking class to demonstrate the culinary and gastronomic traditions of our country. The evening will close with the Gala Dinner with the participation of our international guests. On 3rd November, the last day of this Bolognese edition of Italy at Hand, the morning will be taken up with 10 pre-scheduled business appointments in Palazzo Re Enzo. The participants will then move for lunch to an exceptional venue, FICO Eataly World, where they will be guided through the world’s biggest agrifood park in the world. To end with, our international guests will be offered the possibility of touring Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Veneto.
