National Conference: an overview about the green transition between new business opportunities and new legislation

ON 23 AND 24 JUNE 2023 WAS HELD AT HOTEL LE TRE VASELLE RESORT & SPA IN TORGIANO (PG) THE 42ND GIFASP NATIONAL CONFERENCE (ASSOGRAFICI’S SPECIALIZATION GROUP THAT BRINGS TOGETHER MANUFACTURERS OF FOLDING BOXES AND CASES).

The event, entitled “Green transition between business opportunities and new legislation on the horizon”, brought together around eighty participants from member companies, focusing attention on the most relevant and topical issues for the sector.

The main objective of the conference was to offer a space for comparison and exchange of ideas for companies associated with GIFASP, creating an environment conducive to collaboration and knowledge sharing.

With this in mind, the business opportunities deriving from the transition to more sustainable practices were explored and the discussion involved the new legislation and directives that are emerging on the horizon, emphasizing the need to adapt to changes and to embrace solutions innovative with respect for the environment.

THE VISIT TO TECNOCARTA

This year the conference was preceded by a visit to Tecnocarta Sas at Passo di

Bettona (Pg), an interesting and innovative reality, looking towards the future between environmental sustainability, a lean approach and the centrality of people, led by Alessandro Tomassini who inherited from parents, Giorgio Tomassini and Antonia Tedeschi, this precious corporate ethic and continues to inspire the market with customized solutions and an avant-garde approach.

During the tour of the plant, it was possible to appreciate the wide range of production processes that Tecnocarta manages with great skill. From extrusion coating, which allows the application of special coatings on surfaces, to die-cutting, which allows the creation of customized shapes and cuts, up to flexo printing, hot stamping and gluing, remaining pleasantly impressed by patents on machines, which reward cleverness and innovation of the origins of the company linked to the workshop and to the process of modifying the machines.
