What was your motivation to become a fitness woman? My motivation was inspired by my husband Duane who believed in me when I quit my 9-5 day job to focus on my brand and train for Crossfit Competitions. Duane is my coach, my love, the father of my children, and pushes me to believe in myself. Who you are? Amber T. Fitness is my brand. I'm a wife, mom, model, crossfit competitor, brand Ambassador for FNX Fitness Supplements, Instagram Influencer, I consider myself a gym Junkie. I have competed in two bikini competitions, multiple Crossfit competitions, and have placed titled wins in Normal Scaled competitions. I won the Co-Ed division-1st Place and for the 2020 Open Scaled individual division 35- 39. I qualified for third and from that qualification I got into the East Texas Fittest and just recently won second place in 35-39 scaled female division! FITNESS

What have been the biggest difficulties as a woman you encountered in this job? Finding a right photographer is the first challenge. I feel the right photographer for me will see my creative vision for my brand. Its about finding mutual goals for fitness branding and creative ideas.

FITNESS FITNESS CPMAGAZINE ! BUSINESSWOMAN ! 17 There will be those who think that you are very lucky, so tell us also about the difficult times you have lived until you got here. You never thought about abandoning it? I was a very young mother in my 20's and ended up dropping out of college at that time. I was a military wife and in an unhealthy marriage. We had two children together and when we divorced I needed to start over pregnant, a single mom with one child and no where to live. I powered threw those bad times. I'm so blessed to have met Duane and remarried several years later. He has 3 chidren prior to meeting me so now we are a happy family of 5 kids! Now im a successful Entrepreneur who inspires others better themselves. I love what I do and I'm my own brand in Fitness as an Influencer. I'm building Sponsorships in Health and Fitness. I work hard everyday to acheive my goals and train for my Crossfit Competitions. When you have chidren that depend on you abandoning your mission is not an option. Speaking of planning, there is widespread uncertainty about whether cardiovascular exercises should be done before, or after training itself. How should the phases of a good exercise session be? Short cardio can be done before, but it’s always better after weightlifting so you don’t fatigue your muscles. It also depends on if you are a smaller person just wanting to tone. You don't need more than 15 minutes and a bigger person trying to loose weight can do 30min -1 hour of cardio a day. 30min before and 30min after. If we always do the same exercise chart, can the muscles get used to and stop progressing? It is needed, discipline? Yes your muscles can plateau and you need to change up exercise.. A journal helps and finding a new max in weights can help you see new growth and change. Discipline is a must in order to get results. Diet is 90% of the change you will see and it needs to be sustained.

FITNESS How far would you be willing to go to achieve your professional goals? I'm not sure how to answer that question. It really depends on the circumstance, but with my kids in mind, I always want to be seen and advertised in a respectful way. What have you learned from your previous successes? Challenges can be so big and life is hard sometimes, but there are people out there that are good and see your heart, your struggles,but they beleive in you to and are willing to help you get there!

FITNESS To almost finish the interview, being so young, what goals would you like to achieve? Well Im not as young as most models that are being interviewed, but one goal is being features in Magazines Like CP Magazine! To be chosen as a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, getting picked up by some big Sports Sponsors with food prep, clothing brands, and competing in big name competitions like Granite Games or CrossFitGames. What advice would you give to women entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs or those who want to become? Go for it! Believe in yourself, work hard and go in feet first! you can always come up with an excuse but you have to go for it. Always get back up, try a new strategy, and keep going!
