COOPER CARRY’S MIXED-USE ECOSYSTEM MAKES US UNIQUELY QUALIFIED Ecosystems bring many diverse contributors together to create something far beyond the capacity of one. They create and capture new and greater value. At Cooper Carry, we approach our work as a collaborative ecosystem. We have multiple studios and services that mix and match daily to provide each project the depth of expertise it needs to meet business objectives. Our breadth of experience goes far beyond broad building types. We offer a deeper level of expertise, engaging in more possibilities and offering more creative solutions. The mixed-use ecosystem allows us to help our clients create the platform on which tenants and target audiences can flourish.

HISTORIC REHABILITATION AND ADAPTIVE REUSE The most sustainable building is the one that already exists – and that is just one of the many reasons our clients choose reuse. Historically significant buildings can connect people to place and past to present.
We believe that all buildings have a story to be revealed. This is why we celebrate their historic character and strive to ensure their continuing relevance and contribution to the community. Rehabilitation and adaptive reuse design requires sensitivity to a place’s cultural context as well as experience with the technical challenges that come with working in an existing building. Our architects and designers are thought leaders and specialists whose sole focus is the creation of exceptional spaces and places, whether our client is seeking historic preservationrelated financial incentives, complying with government guidelines, or adapting and rehabilitating a building for any reason.
The benefits of Adaptive Reuse are clear.
Location
With the structure of the building in place, a developer can get to market quicker.
Sustainability
The history of the building provides a unique quality; increasingly, residents are looking for a place that speaks to them and the locality.
Many outdated buildings are located in prime urban centers.
Timeline
Saving the outer core of a building is better for the environment.
