Ward will be at the Majestic Theatre Pomona on Thursday 24 August to present her new movie, Rachel’s Farm. In the uplifting documentary, Rachel sets out to regenerate her northern NSW beef farm with the help of experts and neighbours.

For many years, her Nambucca Valley property was a family retreat, conventionally farmed. When the 2019 Black Summer fires spared the farm, the near-miss sets Rachel thinking hard about the future. Rachel challenges established farming practices and takes on a new approach.

Rachel’s Farm is about environmental threats and the story of one woman’s resolve to tackle them head-on, intent on making a difference.

There will be a discussion panel after the screening and a meet and greet with Rachel.

Doors and bar open at 5:30 pm, and the movie screens at 6:30 pm.
