NEW NAME, SAME SERVICE FOR OUR SENIORS HUB

Noosa Community Support is changing its name to better reflect who it provides its services and support to.

It’s a name change and a new look, but its support for Noosa’s local seniors remains the same. The new name Noosa Seniors was unveiled this week.

The work to support seniors has operated under the name of Noosa Community Support since 2015, but the name change is to better reflect our core mission of providing support and services to those who are eligible.

“We exist to provide a way to connect with and support our seniors in the shire, so they can be active and lead independent lives,” Noosa Seniors coordinator Justin Morgan said.

“We continue to evolve as an organisation and including “seniors” in our name aims to make it easier for clients and those in our shire to find and connect with us.”

Noosa Seniors is the central hub of senior support in the Noosa community.

“What’s important is that for our clients, we remain committed to delivering exceptional services as part of the Noosa Council team,” Mr Morgan said.

“The same high standards of quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction that clients have come to expect will continue,” he said.

Noosa Seniors operates under the management of Noosa Council and the organisation strives to support seniors to lead an independent, active and fulfilling life.
