Help clean up Noosa Learn to play bridge

CLEAN-UP Australia Day (CUAD) is on Sunday 5 March and the Noosa community is being encouraged to help remove any litter and rubbish from parks and streets, waterways, wetlands and along the foreshores and beaches.

The annual CUAD event is coordinated locally by community group Noosa Integrated Catchment Association (NICA), and this year NICA volunteer Joe Jurisevic has organised 18 registration and collection sites across the Noosa region, including six in the hinterland, three along the eastern beaches, and nine around the lower Noosa River and lakes.

A free postclean-up barbecue hosted by Noosa Lions Club will be held at the Noosaville Lions Park. Cleanaway and Allcott Hire will assist with the removal of all rubbish collected.
