Join a cappella choir

GOOD Vibrations, a cappella choir, sing on Monday evenings in Cooroy at 7:00 pm.

If you are a singer and would like to sing in this choir, please email andrewjemmet@gmail. com. You would probably have had some experience singing in a choir. Now is the time to join, as we start learning new songs for 2023.

Free folk dancing

NOOSA Folk Dancers are a unique and welcoming group providing physical and social well-being through world dance. We have been dancing together for fun and fitness in the local area for close to 30 years. Free come-and-try sessions are held every Friday from 10 am to 11:45 am at Catholic Parish Hall, Moorind- il Street, Tewantin, through February and March 2023. A FORMER Noosa District SHS student is well on her way to becoming a doctor.

Jasmin Smith, who graduated from Noosa High in 2019, has completed her Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) and received direct entry into the Doctor of Medicine program at Griffith University (GU) located at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).
