The Coppell Senior & Community Center at Grapevine Springs is operated by the City’s Parks and Recreation Department and provides a recreation center for those 50 years of age or older.

Visiting the Senior Center is a wonderful way to meet new friends and enjoy a wide variety of programs, social events and drop-in activities. The Center offers progressive programs in the areas of education, excursions, health, fitness, aquatics, special events, arts and crafts, bingo, darts and bridge. Programs are designed to meet the needs of seniors and the community by promoting healthy aging and are either free or have a minimal cost.

HOURS Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm The City of Coppell has partnered with Denton County’s non-profit SPAN Transit to provide shared transportation services for seniors age 60+ and those who may have mobility impairment.

Transportation service is by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance. SPAN is not an emergency medical transportation service.

To use SPAN Transit, passengers must submit an application to SPAN. The application is available online at span-transit.org or by calling the SPAN Dispatch Office at (940) 382-1900. SPAN will begin processing properly completed applications immediately upon receipt. Please allow up to 21 days for processing.

All SPAN vehicles are equipped with wheelchair lifts or ramps. SPAN drivers are trained to assist individuals who may have mobility impairment or use assistive devices.

SPAN’s service area includes all of Coppell and surrounding areas in close proximity to the Coppell city limits. Service to and from Baylor Scott & White Medical Center — Grapevine is also included as a part of SPAN’s contract with Coppell.
