Mercy Mission Bear Hospital and Adoption Agency is pleased to announce it’s 2014 Capital Campaign Program in honor of community business leaders 2013 event participation that enabled over 500 guests from around the world enjoy our Teddy Bear Dinner and Awards Gala, held November 17, 2013 at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel, LAX. If you did not have an opportunity to attend, you can show your support and love for sick and homeless children and those who are terminally ill by participating in our 2014 building plans as Sponsor, Donor or Benefactor. Our 2014 Gala, slated to be held at Terranea Resort, November 2014, will feature the theme, “All in Love, Always in The Arms of a Teddy Bear”, along with dancing bears, a 20 foot golden bear exhibit and more await visitors and guests. Your support is requested to help us realize our vision of a $3.5 Million dollar hospital facility in 2014 to help spread love and cheer among those who need love and encouragement in Los Angeles county. Our 2014 goal will be to share our new 5 story Los Angeles County hospital which will feature a 1st floor Teddy Bear Art Gallery and Museum housing teddy bears from around the world; a Stay and Play Station for ill children; a Teddy Bear Chapel of Prayer; a Teddy Bear “surgical unit” to repair missing eyes, ears and limbs by M.D.’s; a Teddy Bear Adoption Agency for donated bears; a community outreach department for new teddy bears and the famous Teddy Bear Mausoleum of the West and Memorial Wall for teddy bears no longer able to be repaired and handed back to loving owners. Mercy Manor, an adult day center for the elderly with love, resources, new friendships is slated for the 2nd floor; 3rd floor Cafeteria and administrative offices; 4th floor commercial anchors and 5th floor teddy bear storage floors will be a delight for the first, one and only west coast Teddy Bear Hospital.
