Theatre Outing: Henry IV, Part 1 at Southwest Shakespeare Company Thursday, April 5, 7:30pm The first installment of what is widely acknowledged to be Shakespeare’s greatest historical saga, Henry IV Part I explores power, treachery, war, and the complexity of father-son relationships. King Henry’s son, Prince Hal is squandering his life on drinking, gambling, and dissolution. Beside this bacchanal misrule a nationwide rebellion sparks that will test King Henry along with his heir.

Grilled Cheese Cookoff Thursday, April 19th, 4pm-7pm A grilled cheese is one of life’s simplest pleasures, but not all grilled cheese’s are created equal. Calling all chefs to whip up your most creative and tempting grilled cheese sandwich for a chance to win one of four prizes. This live competition is limited to 10 chefs. The Resort will provide cooking equipment and standard ingredients, plus some surprises. Not a chef? Come watch all the fun, grab a taste of all 10 grilled cheeses, and vote for the winner.

They are the marquee players for the Utah Shakespeare festival, and the world famous Guthrie in Minneapolis. They major credits also include the Royal Shakespeare Company. They will be performing sides from Shakespeare in Love, along with answer your questions. We’re also celebrating Shakespeare’s Birthday and Season Launch for Southwest Shakespeare Company. This event will feature a dessert bar, gift basket raffles and more! Only $10 for Members! Cheers!

Wine Pairing Dinner: Inconceivable Wines

Saturday, April 7th 11am-9pm The Day beer became legal Celebrate the refreshing taste of the beers you love at Flourish. Sip on a couple of cold ones in honor of the day beer became legal and enjoy happy hour pricing on beers all day long.

Thursday, April 12 at 6pm Inconceivable should, perhaps be called, “Conceived At Last!” The wines are produced and bottled at Middleton Family Wines. They imagined them, considered their grape sourcing, and winemaking, declared them Inconceivable, and set about finding ways to create the wines anyway. Savor the aromatic flavors of Inconceivable wines paired with Chef Richie’s unique, flavorful dishes. The three course meal includes four wine pairings and hors d’oeuvres. Keep in touch for the menu. Fitness and Spa Fitness Classes

The Club at CopperWynd offers over 35 fitness and aerobics classes weekly. Members and guests are able to relieve stress and improve flexibility with a hot yoga class, tone their muscles by attending a pilates class, relax with the slow graceful movements of Tai Chi, and get energized by the excitement of Zumba every single week. Dymo Stretch

Saturday Hikes With Jordan

A low impact, low stress movement and stretching routine that incorporates active stretching techniques to improve balance, flexibility, and range of motion.

Explore the great outdoors while simultaneously learning about our beautiful desert surroundings. All participants must sign up at the Fitness Desk, as space is limited. All participants are advised to dress appropriately for the conditions and bring any needed snacks and water.

Espresso Yoga Flow is a combination of playful, flowing poses, and steady centering poses. This is an exhilarating Vinyasa style class set to fun, upbeat music, designed for those who want to sweat. Explore inversions and arm balances while experiencing stillness within motion.

HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training Alternates between bursts of intense activity and fixed periods of low-intensity activity. This increases calorie burn, cardio endurance, muscle mass, and metabolism. Each class is scalable and appropriate for all levels.

Total Body Challenge

Post-Work Power Hour Focuses on full body, functional training. The class takes place both inside and outside, depending on weather and varies in intensity, creativity, and difficulty each week. It is designed to build muscle, burn calories, and let off a little steam after a long day.

Meditative Sound Therapy A relaxing class where participants are taken through a guided meditation that allows the body and mind to deeply relax. The class is a combination of Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing where the participant is placed in a comfortable position on a yoga mat, utilizing yoga blankets and any other props needed. During the meditation session, crystal, and/or Tibetan singing bowls are played in different keys in order to assist class participants with the healing and harmonization of the human energy system.

Small Group Training Designed for those individuals who are looking for the individual benefits of personal training in a group setting. In a circuit type of format, the class is led through a combination of both upper and lower body exercises, along with various core strengthening exercises. It is formatted for low weight, high repetition strength training exercises, that can be tailored for all fitness levels. Each exercise accomplishes both muscular and cardiovascular strengthening.

A fun and exciting cardiovascular workout incorporating interval training. Combines weights and cardio. A great way to get your body moving!

Yoga Stretch is an intermediate class with a moderate pace. The aim of this class is to increase flexibility and to relieve tension within the body by using specific poses with a focus on proper alignment and safety. This class is accessible to all ability levels.

ZUMBA The feel happy workout. ZUMBA is a fusion of Latin and International dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
