Frequently Asked Questions When is the Box Office open? Season Hours: Monday – Friday 10:00am to 5:00pm Saturday 12:00pm to 4:00pm Closed on Sunday Summer Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00am to 2:00pm Friday 1:00pm to 6:00pm Closed on Saturday and Sunday The Box Office will be open 2 hours prior to most performances. The Box Office phone number is (954) 344-5990. Call for holiday hours. Where can I view a seating chart? Seating charts are available online. Visit www.coralspringscenterforthearts.com, then click on “Plan Your Visit” and then “Seating Chart.” The Box Office can fax a seating chart, or you can pick up a seating chart in person. Can I make a reservation? No. Full payment is required for all shows. The only exceptions are for large groups (see Group Sales) or Education Series performances. Can I return my tickets? All sales are final. The Coral Springs Center for the Arts has a strict No Refund, No Exchange policy. What do I do if the show is canceled? In the event of a cancellation we will make every effort to notify patrons beforehand, often by telephone, and the price of the tickets will be refunded. If you purchased your tickets with a credit card, your account will be credited. If you purchased your tickets with a check, you will be mailed a refund check. Cash must be retrieved at the Box Office. What if I can’t make it because of the weather? If the show goes on as scheduled, we are contractually obligated to pay the performers. Therefore, we do not offer weather-related refunds. Why is there a ticketing fee? To help offset the cost of this system, we instituted a per-ticket convenience fee by phone, mail or fax, and by Internet. The fees are scaled according to ticket prices. There is no fee for tickets purchased in-person at the Box Office during regular business hours. Are cameras / recording devices allowed at the performance? No. Cameras (with or without a flash), video equipment or recording devices are not allowed unless the performer grants special permission. Unauthorized equipment is subject to confiscation. Does my infant need a ticket if he or she is going to sit in my lap during a performance? Children 2 and under do not need a ticket for most performances, but need to be held in your lap. If I purchase multiple tickets to a performance, will my seats be together? Our staff will always select consecutive seats when filling your order at one time, unless you have specifically requested otherwise. If orders are not placed at one time, there is no guarantee the seats will be together. When purchasing tickets online the computer fills in the best available seats, which sometimes means splitting seats. Before completing your order, make sure your seats are together. The Coral Springs Center for the Arts has a strict No Refund, No Exchange policy.

When I received my tickets, the seats were numbered 14, 16, and 18. Are my seats together? Yes. All seats on the right side of the theater are even-numbered, and seats on the left side of the theater are odd-numbered. Seats in the 200s are numbered consecutively. This numbering system helps our ushers direct you to your seats quickly and efficiently. What is the difference between mezzanine and balcony? The mezzanine comprises the first six rows of the theater’s upper level. The balcony section is behind the mezzanine. The two sections are divided by a wide walkway. How will I know if I can see the stage from my seats? The Box Office will always advise you about obstructed-view seats. Is this show reserved seating or general admission? The Coral Springs Center for the Arts rarely sells general admission tickets to shows. Therefore, if you purchased a ticket it is most likely for reserved seating (indicated by section, row and seat numbers). Can I buy tickets for another performance while I’m at the theater to see a show? We will only sell tickets to other performances up until 30 minutes before showtime. The Box Office is staffed for performances so that it may efficiently serve patrons attending the show. Do you have rush seats / discounts? We generally do not offer discounted “rush” tickets. Occasionally, promotional discounts will be offered, with notification through advertising and email newsletters. (To sign up, visit www.coralspringscenterforthearts.com and click on “Email Signup.”) Do you sell gift certificates? Yes. You can purchase gift certificates in any amount at the Box Office. Call for details (954) 344-5990. Can I redeem my gift certificate over the phone? No. You must submit your gift certificate to the Box Office either in person or by mail to order tickets. What discounts are available for group sales? Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more for many shows. Call for details (954) 344-5990. What if I am late to a performance? Late arrivals will be seated at the management’s discretion. All performances are subject to change. Please check your tickets for curtain time and date. Is the theater wheelchair accessible and are listening devices available? The Coral Springs Center for the Arts is wheelchair accessible with designated seating. Assistive listening devices are available for all performances. Please notify the theater house manager when you arrive for the performance. Where do I park? Free parking is available at all times, and valet parking is available at most performances for a nominal fee. Call prior to the show to confirm valet parking. Where is the handicapped parking? The City of Coral Springs has designated spaces in the first row of the parking lot for handicapped parking.

Where are the closest restaurants? There are many fine restaurants located east of the theater on University Drive and north of the theater along Sample Road. Many support the Coral Springs Center for the Arts through our restaurant sponsor program, and we encourage you to patronize those establishments. A list of restaurant sponsors is located on the website. What number do I leave the babysitter? We recommend you leave your cell phone on vibrate in case of emergency as there is no guarantee the House Manager will reach you in a timely manner. However, you can tell them to call the House Manager Line at (954) 344-5999 ext. 5827 and leave a message including your section, row and seat number. What other kinds of activities take place? Whether you are having a reception for 200 people, a seminar for twenty business associates, or a trade show, the Coral Springs Center for the Arts can provide a unique setting for your next event. We offer a 1,471-seat theater with a full service, in-house box office and a 10,000 sq. ft. museum. Call the museum at (954) 340-5000 to inquire about artist exhibits, hours of operation, art class schedules and yoga for art lovers. We also offer onsite catering, an elegant lobby, a fully equipped dance studio, a variety of meeting rooms, and courtyard. Where can I see an up-to-date list of all shows? Current listings can be found online at www.coralspringscenterforthearts.com Who is responsible for deciding which shows will be booked? The majority of shows presented at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts are booked by the PFM (Professional Facilities Management) programming department. However, many shows are presented by outside promoters who rent the theater and are responsible for setting the ticket prices, advertising and the quality of the production. Why don’t you bring in (insert your favorite artists here)? There are many factors that go into deciding what artists to book – artists fees and availability, the size of the show (will it fit on our stage?), how many people will attend and how much will they pay. Often times, your favorite artists either don’t have a big enough following or are so popular that they are not affordable. The performance was different from the advertising. Why did this happen? We strive to provide accurate information at all times about upcoming performances. Occasionally, information provided to us by artists does not accurately reflect the performance presented because artists reserve the right to make last-minute changes. Changes may occur between the time of booking the show, which may be months to a year before the actual performance date.
