There is a Kapok tree corridor opposites my college. One day I saw this withering flower laid on a blue car, the contrast between brown and blue just caught my eyes, so I took this picture. 7
WITHERING

Flowers are looked similar when bloom, but quite different during withering. Every flower has its unique wither look, that is why I always enjoy shooting withering flowers. 8

This dragonfly was resting on a car’s aerial. I was surprising that how lucky I am to see this beautiful creature in city. Fortunately, it was still there when I got back with my camera. 11

LANDIND IN 1976

Designed for Taiwanese rock band 1976 's 20 th anniversary exhibition “LANDIND IN 1976”. In 1976, the found members of the band were born to earth, and there was a meteor shower in the same year. On the other hand, this exhibition is a milestone for 1976, it is another kind of “landing”. So I decided to put all three thoughts together and made a visual with science fiction style.

This exhibition is meant to commemorate the beautiful prehistoric relics from the Peinan site. There were plenty of crafts which like jade, pottery had been found in Peinan site, it means that there were artists or craftspeople in the ancient time. To match the cute illustration which I had been provided, I chose to change the font’s shape, made it looks similar with the illustration.

One day I was eating nuts, I suddenly felt that nut looks like a brain. It reminded me that nuts also means “insane” in U.S. English. I like this idea so I put it into my business card design.

STAY WITH ME

This fan fiction includes two stories in the same science-based world. They are all about “connection”. There are many raining scenes in the second short tale, I like the atmosphere very much. In the end, I decided to combine “connection” and rain. Those tiny points mean “people”, the links of people construct the ball which replaces “the world”. And why this world is raining? The answer is in the book. 37

This is designed for Verona the Italian restaurant. The owners wanted a mural to decorate their wall. They had a clear idea, a black-and-white illustration of how they make pizza and pasta.

Designed for an antique store, Avon Collection. This customer wanted a minimalist design. I chosed a paper which has shining coating to create a luxury feeling.

Crow is one of my favorite birds. It is also my nickname. That is why I chosed crow to be my symbol and designed my business card with crow’s image. It has no color but black, just like the beautiful black bird. 41
