We aspire to be a diverse and inclusive community that affirms, supports, and celebrates an abundance of identities, experiences, and perspectives. In 2021, we reimagined our approach to tuition and aid so anyone can experience the value of a Concordia education.
It’s an exciting time at Concordia as we find new ways to challenge and support our students as they become the creative problem-solvers the world needs now.
As a liberal arts college, Concordia students learn to think critically, develop globally informed perspectives, and become creative problem-solvers. Through academic discovery and handson real-world experiences, you will leave here PREPARED for life after graduation.

The Concordia experience is about building relationships, exploring endless possibilities — and experiencing time-honored traditions. These are the memories that keep Cobbers connected. When you are here, you are invited to be a part of something BIGGER .
Students kick off Homecoming weekend with an annual bonfire built like no other (aka HUGE). The night ends with a fireworks display over Jake Christiansen Stadium.
With hundreds of activities and events outside the classroom, it’s hard to pick a favorite, but here are a few highlights.
It’s your time to shine! This annual event showcases the many talents of our freshman class. It’s a night packed with energy, music, and fun.
Cobbers celebrate spring with Cornstock — a free concert that features a national band. A few past headliners include: lovelytheband, COIN, and AJR. Your ticket is waiting!
We aren’t kidding when we say these rings are everywhere. The Cobber ring is the second most recognized ring in the country. It connects Cobbers young and old in all areas of the globe when they spot one.
The Concordia Christmas concerts are a 96-year-old tradition and nationally renowned event. Concerts are held on campus and at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis.
Many students fall in love with campus — the beauty and the culture — upon their first visit here. To truly appreciate Concordia’s campus, you need to explore it. Take a walk past Prexy’s Pond, relax in an Adirondack chair near Olin Hill, or people watch from the steps of Old Main. Hear what some of our students love about campus:
“As you climb up the stairs of Old Main, there’s a huge window with a wide ledge for sitting. It’s the perfect hideaway spot to read a book and relax.”
“If you’re looking for a great place to ponder, Prexy’s Pond is perfect. In the fall and spring, it’s the perfect place to meet for lunch, work on homework or take a quick snooze!”
“For a fast photo op, the Skyway is my go-to locale. With glass sides, the space offers tons of natural light and room for group pics.”
“On a beautiful fall evening, hang out with some friends at the campus fire pit. Bonus points if you make s’mores!”
Join a musical ensemble, draft your own intramural basketball team, use your voice in the Student Government Association, or volunteer in the community. With endless ways to get involved, your college experience can be as UNIQUE as you.

“I will be a freshman at Concordia this coming fall. What I’m most excited about is getting to play the sport I love and making new friends! One of the many things that drew me to Concordia was its amazing science program.”
MILGO
Pennock, Minn.
“Whenever I would tell people my college options, they would go on and on about how much they loved Concordia. It seemed as if everyone had only positive things to say. As soon as I toured campus, I knew Concordia was the place for me!”
