The Gorilla and the Snake
O
ne day in the large jungle there was a
Gorilla swinging in the tree branches and a Snake was in one of them so they crashed into each other. The big Gorilla was angry at the Snake but the Snake wasn’t. Then they went back to their houses and when the Gorilla got to his house he was so angry that he told some friends what had happened. Some days later the silly Snake went to a tall branch of a tall tree to rest. But when he got to the top he figured that he couldn’t go back down. The Gorilla that he had crashed with, passed by and the Snake asked,” Can you help me and maybe one day I could help you”. The Gorilla laughed,” A little animal like you could never help me, but I’ll help you.” He went up the tree and grabbed the Snake and went back down. A week later the Gorilla went to look for food and saw bananas on big leaves. He went to get them but when he stepped on the leaves he fell in a deep hole. The Gorilla shouted, “Help, help!” Just then the Snake heard him and went to help him. When he got there he looked down into the hole and saw the Gorilla. He tied his tail to a tree and went down so the Gorilla
could climb out. When he got out he said, “Now I know that little animals can help big animals.” And that’s the moral of the story.
