What Will I Learn? Applying the rigorous standards of Cornell Law School, the crossdisciplinary Law Tech curriculum will give you the skills and knowledge to become a successful attorney in technology and entrepreneurship.
The immersive and empowering Product Studio and Startup Studio programs form a foundation for the Law Tech experience. You’ll work as part of a project team to use technology to solve present-day business problems. Building upon rigorous coursework, you’ll also provide legal support to project teams under the supervision of an experienced professional.
With two semesters of full-time study, Law Tech students will take in-depth courses in core subjects such as intellectual property, cybersecurity and privacy, tech and high-growth corporate transactions, and employment law.

PRODUCT STUDIO
Part of the entrepreneurial fabric of Cornell Tech, Product Studio enables you to learn by building. As part of a project team, you’ll respond to a real-world challenge posed by a leading company or organization and deliver new business ideas and prototypes by the end of the semester.
STARTUP STUDIO
In Cornell Tech’s Startup Studio, you and your project team members will develop an idea, a product, and a pitch, test it with users, and create and tell a compelling startup story. During this time, you’ll have the opportunity to work with practitioners and users from all facets of the tech world.
