Blow Glass at Sea! Glassblowers Needed Are you a hardworking, articulate, friendly, expert glassblower? Come work with the best! The Corning Museum of Glass has launched its Hot Glass Show aboard Celebrity Cruises and is looking for Narrator/Demonstrators to join the team. Narrator/Demonstrators provide live, narrated hot glassblowing demonstrations on Celebrity Cruises. Responsibilities include: • Live and work on board a Celebrity Solstice-class ship for three months at a time • Produce well-crafted glass objects to demonstrate traditional and contemporary techniques for audiences of all ages • Narrate for other glassblowers, clearly articulating the process while engaging the audience and assisting the glassblower • Set up work area and maintain operation and safety of equipment All artists must pass a mandatory physical exam, drug test, and background check, have a valid passport; travel well and maintain a professional demeanor and appearance on and off duty at all times; and work well in a team environment.
